Brock & Stout Attorneys at Law is a client-focused law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families through some of life’s most difficult challenges. With multiple office locations across Alabama and Georgia, our firm assists clients in the areas of Bankruptcy, Social Security Disability, and Personal Injury.
We are seeking a motivated and creative Local SEO / Web Developer to join our marketing team at our Dothan, Alabama office. This position will support the firm’s marketing efforts by helping improve our online visibility, website performance, local search presence, and overall digital marketing strategy.
Position Overview
The Local SEO / Web Developer will assist with marketing projects focused on strengthening Brock & Stout’s web presence and improving search engine performance across our office locations and practice areas. This role is ideal for someone who understands local SEO, website optimization, digital content, and web development, and who enjoys using both technical and creative skills to help a business grow.
The ideal candidate will have experience with website building, search engine optimization, graphic design, and basic programming or development languages. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with local SEO strategies to improve visibility for Brock & Stout office locations and practice areas.
- Optimize website pages, landing pages, blog posts, and other digital content for search engines and user experience.
- Help manage and improve the firm’s website structure, design, speed, functionality, and mobile responsiveness.
- Support Google Business Profile optimization for multiple office locations.
- Assist with website updates, page creation, content formatting, and technical troubleshooting.
- Monitor website performance, rankings, traffic, and other digital marketing metrics.
- Assist with on-page SEO, including title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, image optimization, and content organization.
- Help identify opportunities to improve local search rankings and online visibility.
- Support marketing campaigns through web updates, landing pages, graphics, and digital assets.
- Assist with graphic design projects for web, social media, email, and other marketing needs.
- Collaborate with marketing team members, attorneys, and staff to support firm-wide marketing goals.
- Stay up to date on SEO, web development, digital marketing, and local search best practices.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred but not required:
- Local SEO and search engine optimization
- Website design and development
- WordPress or other content management systems
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or other programming languages
- Google Business Profile optimization
- Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar reporting tools
- Graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms
- Website performance optimization
- Landing page creation and conversion optimization
- Digital marketing, content marketing, or online advertising support
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of websites, search engines, and online marketing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a law firm, professional services, or marketing environment is a plus but not required

This position will be based out of our Dothan, Alabama office, with some remote work optional.
