The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cabinets and related fixtures across various residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate cabinet placement and alignment
- Measure spaces precisely and prepare site for installation
- Install cabinets and hardware with attention to detail and safety standards
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to complete installations efficiently
- Coordinate with project managers and designers
- Perform repairs or modifications on existing cabinetry as needed
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials throughout each project phase
- Conduct quality inspections to verify proper fit, finish, and adherence to specifications
- Follow safety protocols consistently to prevent accidents or injuries on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience in cabinet installation
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Knowledge of construction management practices and inspection procedures
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical systems, drywall finishing, and other building trades is preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment safely
- Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in measuring and alignment tasks
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
