Account Manager - Product Sales
The main purpose of PERI’s Account Manager – DUO (AMDUO) position is to increase the revenue volume and achieve strategic sales objectives for the DUO product line. The AMDUO does this through lead generation, developing customer relationships, and increasing product visibility within an assigned geographical area. Leveraging PERI’s resources, the AMDUO will execute a comprehensive sales approach and create detailed offers and technical solutions for prospective and existing customers. In addition, it is the responsibility of the AMDUO position to support the customer throughout the project lifecycle with support of the PERI’s internal team.
What you'll do on a typical day:
- Actively and continuously prospecting to identify potential customer sites for PERI products within a geographical area and actively sell PERI products to all construction sites within a geographical area.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers focusing on maintaining strong transactional relationships with decision makers.
- Maximize in-person customer interactions to build and maintain relationship, to gain understanding of requirements and needs, and to provide support with current and future needs and actively promote PERI’s products to customers in order to generate revenue.
- Manage sales lifecycle (beginning with initial customer contact and ending with project closeout meeting)
- Represent PERI and participate in industry shows nationally to increase product visibility and increase sales leads.
- Actively prospect and identify potential PERI customers/projects and build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction acting as a liaison with the customer through thorough pipeline management and comprehensive project coverage.
- Develop and execute a personal sales strategy for DUO products including time and territory planning.
- Implement a consultative sales approach to customers with the objective of adding value for DUO products throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct market research to remain knowledgeable with current industry trends, growth activity, and competitor products to best proposition the DUO product line to maintain and grow PERI’s market segment.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Post-secondary education degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, business development, project management, or construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application and computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to utilizing new technology/software.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

These include: Self-awareness, self-confidence, self-management, social awareness, active listening, conflict management, empathy, relationship management, emotional intelligence, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team player.
- DUO Product and Service Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of PERI's DUO product line, services, and solutions to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
- Communication Skills: Effectively relays oral and written information to individuals at all levels, ensuring clarity and understanding from all parties.
- Sales Proficiency: Prospecting, making first impressions, qualifying, demonstrating, influencing, closing, conflict resolution, building and maintaining relationships, resiliency, competitive edge, self-starter, persistence, results-oriented, and is resourceful. Entrepreneurial: Recognizes opportunities, takes initiative, and drives ventures forward.
- Negotiation and Persuasion: Identifies and addresses the social, emotional, economic, and practical barriers that prevent people from complying, listening to understand the other party's perspective as well as articulating your own needs concisely, thoughtful planning and preparation before talks, thinking critically, adapt strategies, patience, persistence, and techniques.

PERI Offers a competitive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, supplemental options, 401k retirement with company match, paid holidays, sick leave, and paid time off. The starting salary for this role is between $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually plus commission opportunity.
