Accountant Jobs in Bellevue: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a accountant job in Bellevue?
The most direct path is targeting Bellevue's technology and corporate services sector, where companies in the Bellevue CBD and the Spring District consistently post accounting roles. Candidates with experience in revenue recognition, intercompany accounting, or financial close processes stand out here. Tailoring your resume to reflect public company or high-growth tech environments gives you a clear edge over generalists competing for the same openings.
Which companies hire accountants in Bellevue?
Employers hiring accountants in Bellevue right now include The Pokémon Company International, HDR, and PACCAR, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Bellevue's employer mix leans heavily toward established technology firms, regional banks, and mid-market professional services companies, many of which maintain in-house accounting teams rather than outsourcing.
Are there remote accountant jobs in Bellevue?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role. Analytical and reporting functions adapt well to remote work, while accounts payable, treasury, and audit support roles often require on-site presence. About 100% of accountant openings tied to Bellevue are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. The tech sector in Bellevue tends to offer the most hybrid flexibility compared to financial services and healthcare employers.
How can I get a accountant job in Bellevue with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point in Bellevue is pursuing staff accountant or accounting associate roles at mid-size technology or professional services firms in the Bellevue CBD, where growth-stage companies frequently hire candidates who are CPA-track and detail-oriented. Local employers also take on accounting interns who convert to full-time after graduation. A strong grasp of Excel, exposure to ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP, and a clean academic record from a Washington-area university all improve your chances considerably.
