ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF BROKERAGE PARTNERSHIPS | SEATTLE, WA (HYBRID)
Hybrid role. At least 2 days per week in our brand-new Seattle office. Expect some travel for industry events and in-person pitches.
Brokerages are our next big partnership channel, and we need a sharp, entrepreneurial operator to lead the charge from day one. You'll report to our Head of Sales & Success and work closely with our SVP of Growth & Marketing and the broader GTM leadership team. Your mission: turn a bold thesis into a repeatable, revenue-generating motion.
There's no playbook yet. You'll help write it. From day one, you'll own a book of premier brokerage accounts that need expert-level relationship-building to unlock their full potential, while also landing proof-of-concept partnerships with new logos. You'll carry a real number, learn what works in the field, and help shape how RentSpree wins this channel for the next decade.
The person who thrives here is equal parts seller, strategist, and builder. You love the ambiguity of zero-to-one, and when you hit a hard problem your instinct is always "How can we make it happen?" We think of RentSpree as a championship team on a mission to become the dominant rental platform in the U.S. Competitors are racing for the same title. This role is one of our biggest plays to win it.
Drive the Sales Motion End-to-End
- Own a book of premier brokerage accounts. These are some of the most strategically important relationships in our business. Deepen executive sponsorship, uncover expansion opportunities, and turn each one into a flagship proof point.
- Run the full new-logo motion: target account identification, outbound, discovery, pitch, negotiation, and close with senior brokerage decision-makers.
- Stand up and run proof-of-concept partnerships from handshake to launch. Build the land-and-expand playbook that makes the motion repeatable as we scale.
- Roll up your sleeves daily. You'll be in the weeds with prospects, partners, and internal teams.
Own Pipeline & Deliver Revenue
- Carry individual quota against acquisition and activation targets.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline from initial outreach to signed agreement to successful launch.
- Own activation as much as acquisition. A signed agreement isn't the finish line. Drive every brokerage to full adoption and measurable expansion, because that's where revenue lands.
- Bring a fail-fast, learn-fast mindset to every deal: try new angles, kill what isn't working, feed learning into the next attempt.
Partner Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with our Partnership Managers and First Voice team to ensure signed brokerages adopt, activate, and expand. Customer obsession doesn't end at the sign-up.
- Collaborate with Marketing on brokerage-specific messaging, campaigns, and enablement.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Product to surface brokerage needs and influence the roadmap.
- Feed field insights back to GTM leadership to sharpen strategy in real time.
- Represent RentSpree at industry events and in-person pitches.
Build the Foundation for Scale
- Design the sales processes, tooling, and playbooks that will power this channel as it grows.
- Document what you learn. Every conversation, objection, and win is a data point that makes the next deal easier.
- Leverage AI tooling aggressively to work smarter and move faster.
Our job descriptions evolve with our business needs and priorities. Your role may include other tasks, projects, and team support.
SKILLS YOU BRING
- 5 to 7 years of sales, business development, or partnerships experience, ideally in proptech, real estate SaaS, or a channel motion. Bonus points for existing relationships in the brokerage landscape.
- Trust-building with senior leaders. You can flex between a 30-second elevator pitch, a 30-minute executive conversation, and a 3-hour strategy session.
- Results-driven execution. You measure success by outcomes, not effort. You're relentless in pursuing opportunities and disciplined about turning insights into action.
- Builder's mindset. You've worked in a high-growth startup and know the difference between "process" and "bureaucracy." You'd rather help build the playbook than inherit one.
- AI-fluent. You're excited about using AI tooling to amplify your output and outpace the competition.
QUALITIES YOU PRACTICE
These are the principles we hire for and hold ourselves to:
- Own it end to end. Drive projects from idea to execution. Take pride in the work. Do what it takes.
- Communicate like a teammate. Direct, candid, and respectful. Give feedback well, receive it well, and build trust through transparency.
- Hold a high bar. Think critically. Stay curious. Keep looking for ways to do it better.
- Stay adaptable. Anticipate challenges, take initiative, and bring resourcefulness to whatever comes next.
- Experiment and learn fast. Try things. Learn from what doesn't work. Keep it simple.
- Debate well, commit fully. Push back constructively, contribute your point of view, then align and move together.
- AI is a core skill. Use AI tools to move faster and think sharper.
WHY JOIN US?
The work here is real, the problems are hard, and you'll have teammates who push you to do your best.
- Competitive compensation.
- Equity. Share in what you help build.
- The team. Talented colleagues who push you and back you up.
- Room to grow. Coaching, resources, and development beyond the role you start in.
- Health coverage from day one. Medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents. HSA/FSA options. Headspace Care+, gym discounts, and more.
- A real plan for your future. Life and disability coverage, plus a SIMPLE IRA with company match.
- Flexible vacation. Take the time you need. We trust you to manage it.
- 11 holidays a year, plus 3 recharge days.
- Ways to connect. Reimbursed weekly team lunches, game nights, and events. In-person and remote.
