🚨 NOW HIRING: Senior Java Developer | Columbus, OH (Hybrid) 🚨 We’re partnering with a direct client in Columbus, Ohio to hire a talented Senior Java Developer for a full-time, permanent opportunity! This is a hybrid role with just 1–2 days/week onsite (possibly less). Candidates must be local to the Columbus area.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you’ll work on complex enterprise solutions, collaborate across teams, and help drive projects from architecture and design through implementation. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving challenging problems, taking ownership, and contributing as a senior technical voice on the team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partnering with Business Systems Analysts and QA teams to ensure clear requirements and successful delivery
- Designing and architecting solutions for complex technical challenges
- Evaluating tools, technologies, and third-party products
- Participating in Agile/Scrum delivery teams while supporting multiple delivery models
- Leading proof-of-concept initiatives and collaborating with senior technical resources
- Supporting production systems through on-call participation as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Enterprise Java (JEE) and/or C++ experience
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security
- Expertise with SOAP & REST web services
- Node.js and Handlebars experience
- Oracle SQL and API development/testing experience (Postman)
- Experience with Git, Maven, unit testing, and integration testing
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and LLM-based code generation
REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
- High-speed internet connection
- Quiet workspace
- Teleconferencing capability
- Smartphone/mobile device access

SCHEDULE
Schedule: 1–2 days onsite weekly (team-based schedule)
