ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is responsible for overseeing internal sales of branded merchandise and uniform items to departments across the Ochsner Health System. The Lead Internal Sales Associate serves as the primary liaison between internal department contacts, vendors, and internal Brand and Marketing teams to ensure accurate, timely, and brand-compliant ordering. In addition to managing complex orders and client relationships, this role provides day-to-day guidance to peer sales associates, supports promotional initiatives, and helps ensure consistent execution of internal sales processes and customer service standards.

Education
- Required - High School Diploma/GED
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Required - 2 years sales, internal sales, or customer-facing coordination experience
- Preferred - 3 years sales, internal sales, or customer-facing coordination experience
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Strong internal sales, customer service, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to act as a liaison between internal clients, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
- High attention to detail with strong follow-up and documentation practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills across varying levels of the organization.
- Ability to balance customer-facing responsibilities with operational and administrative tasks.
- Understanding of branding compliance and approval workflows in a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Windows-based applications, web-based applications such as Salesforce, and data entry systems.

Heavy Work - Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.
Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste.
