We aren’t looking for a corporate UX manager who delegates to junior designers, nor an agency freelancer who hands off static wireframes and walks away. We are looking for a Founding Product & Brand Designer—a true solo powerhouse and Jack-of-All-Trades who can take complete 0-to-1 visual ownership of Pack.com.
You will sit at the exact intersection of product strategy, high-dopamine interface design, and modern gaming culture. One day you’ll be mapping out frictionless digital-to-physical redemption flows in Figma; the next, you’ll be illustrating high-energy mystery pack containers, designing unboxing states, and defining our brand language from scratch.
This is a senior individual contributor (IC) role with absolute creative sovereignty. You will work directly alongside leadership and engineering to build a category-defining gamified shopping ecosystem from a blank canvas.
Key Responsibilities- Full 0-to-1 Product Design: Own the product experience end-to-end. Map out complex user journeys, translate raw business requirements into low-fidelity wireframes, and build pixel-perfect, interactive UI prototypes.
- Brand Identity & Custom Illustration: Define the visual DNA of Pack.com. Create custom 2D/3D digital illustrations, item rarity badges, unboxing pack artwork, empty states, and iconography that bring high-energy casino/gaming flair to e-commerce.
- Gamified UI Architecture: Design conversion-focused, high-dopamine interfaces for mystery box openings, case battles, reward multipliers, Web3 wallet connections, and physical vault redemption flows.
- Design Systems from Scratch: Build, maintain, and scale our core Figma design system, tokens, and component libraries to keep engineering moving fast as we scale.
- Developer-Centric Handoffs: Partner daily with frontend engineers (React/Vue). Deliver clean SVG assets, responsive layout specs, and micro-interaction documentation for seamless production builds.
Requirements
- Founding / Early-Stage Startup Experience: Proven track record as a Founding Designer, Lead Designer, or early employee at a high-growth startup where you owned the product design process solo.
- Hybrid Portfolio (UX Systems + Elite Visual Art): A portfolio demonstrating technical product thinking (user flows, wireframes, conversion psychology) AND exceptional visual craft (custom digital illustration, branding, typography, and game/iGaming UI).
- Figma Mastery: Expert-level fluency in Figma, including advanced auto-layout, variables, component properties, prototyping, and design system architecture.
- Gaming / iGaming / Web3 Intuition: Deep, authentic pulse on online gaming culture, CS2 skin marketplaces, loot-box mechanics, or crypto-native UI dynamics. You know what makes digital unboxings feel rewarding.
- Location & Availability: Based in the United States or Canada with full availability to collaborate across standard US timezones.
- Motion Design & Micro-Interactions: Experience bringing UI elements to life using Rive, Lottie, or After Effects (unboxing sequences, victory loops, particle effects).
- 3D Asset Generation: Basic or advanced 3D skills (Blender, Cinema4D, Spline) for rendering mystery pack containers or physical goods.
Benefits

- Ground-Floor Ownership: High-impact, long-term contract role with massive upside and the opportunity to shape a venture backed by an established iGaming operator.
- Pure Execution Environment: Work directly with a fast-moving, remote team that prioritizes shipping high-quality software over meetings.

Brand Designer Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a brand designer in Texas?
Brand design in Texas has no state-issued license or registration requirement, so the path centers on education and portfolio. Most employers in Austin, Dallas, and Houston expect a degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field from a program at schools like UT Austin, Texas A&M, or the University of Houston. A strong portfolio showing brand identity work, typography, and multi-channel design carries more weight in Texas hiring than any single credential.
How much do brand designers make in Texas?
Brand designers in Texas earn a median of about $60,150 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,340 for the lowest 10% to over $92,910 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire brand designers in Texas?
Employers hiring brand designers in Texas right now include OKG, Nood, and Pack, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of major retail, technology, and financial services headquarters means large in-house creative teams are common, making direct corporate roles a realistic target alongside agency work.
Which Texas cities have the most brand designer jobs?
Austin, Texas, and Dallas have the most brand designer openings in Texas. Austin's technology sector and growing startup ecosystem drive consistent demand there, Dallas is anchored by its large concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and advertising agencies, and Houston's energy, healthcare, and consumer goods industries sustain steady creative hiring across both agency and corporate settings.
Are there remote brand designer jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Brand design is well suited to remote work given its output is digital, and about 57% of brand designer openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Brand strategy, digital identity, and motion design roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while positions requiring hands-on press checks or physical production oversight remain more likely to be on-site.
How can I get hired as a brand designer in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a junior designer or design associate role at a Texas agency or retail brand, where training is built into the job. Large Texas employers like H-E-B and Dell Technologies regularly hire design coordinators and creative associates as entry points. Building a focused portfolio through freelance projects, university work, or design challenges specific to Texas consumer brands is the single strongest move, and proficiency in Figma alongside Adobe tools gives candidates a clear edge in initial screening.
