Mid Market Account Executive Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a mid market account executive in Texas?
Most mid market account executive roles in Texas require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, combined with several years of B2B sales experience. No state-issued license is required for the role itself. Texas employers typically promote from within SDR or BDR teams, so starting as a sales development representative at a Dallas, Austin, or Houston technology or services company is one of the most direct paths into a mid-market seat.
How much do mid market account executives make in Texas?
Mid market account executives in Texas earn a median of about $61,680 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $33,360 for the lowest 10% to over $127,930 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire mid market account executives in Texas?
Employers hiring mid market account executives in Texas right now include Segra, Oracle, and Mews, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Texas's concentration of SaaS headquarters, enterprise technology firms, and large financial services companies means mid-market sales teams are consistently staffed throughout the year.
Which Texas cities have the most mid market account executive jobs?
Austin, Dallas, and Frisco have the most mid market account executive openings in Texas. Dallas and Austin lead because of their dense clusters of technology and SaaS companies, while Houston's dominance in energy, logistics, and healthcare services generates steady demand for mid-market sales talent across those verticals.
Are there remote mid market account executive jobs in Texas?
Yes, and more than most fields. Mid market account executive work is largely phone, video, and email-driven, making it well suited to remote arrangements. About 86% of mid market account executive openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how broadly Texas-based tech and SaaS employers have adopted flexible sales structures. Roles covering a defined Texas territory or requiring in-person client meetings tend to be hybrid rather than fully remote.
How can I get hired as a mid market account executive in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a sales development representative or business development representative role at a Texas technology or SaaS company, then converting to an account executive seat after demonstrating quota performance. Companies like Dell Technologies, Oracle, and Salesforce all run structured early-career sales programs from their Texas offices. A Salesforce or HubSpot certification strengthens any application, and lateral moves from customer success manager or inside sales roles are common stepping stones into mid-market positions.
Where can I find and apply to mid market account executive jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to mid market account executive jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across industries and metros. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience and territory preference, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
