Skilled Wound Care is the nation's leading physician group specializing in wound care services for skilled nursing facilities. For three years running, we have been certified as a Great Place to Work®, with 95% of our team affirming our culture—39% higher than the national average.
We are not just looking for a representative; we are looking for a Market Closer. As we aggressively expand, we need a "clinically-oriented hunter" with a proven track record of successfully signing and onboarding Skilled Nursing Facility accounts.
The Role: Closing & Market Entry
This is a high-impact role focused on the "front end" of our expansion. You will be responsible for entering untapped territories, identifying high-potential SNF partners, and closing the deal. You will be the face of Skilled Wound Care, translating our clinical excellence into profitable, long-term partnerships.
Your mission is simple: Establish the market, sign the contracts, and ensure the territory is operationally viable.
Key Responsibilities
- SNF Account Acquisition: Drive the full sales cycle from initial cold outreach to contract execution within the Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care sectors.
- Strategic Territory Mapping: Analyze new regions to determine business viability and prioritize high-value targets.
- Clinical Value Proposition: Use your knowledge of healthcare and disease processes to demonstrate the ROI of our physician-led wound care model to C-Suite and Administrators.
- Relationship Management: Build high-level trust with corporate SNF owners and regional directors.
- Operational Setup: Work alongside physicians to ensure a seamless transition from "signed contract" to "active service."
- KPI Performance: Consistently meet and exceed closing quotas to ensure rapid, profitable territory growth.
Specific Requirements for Success
We are specifically seeking candidates who have already demonstrated success in the SNF space.
- The "Closer" Pedigree: 2–10 years of sales experience, with a documented history of closing contracts specifically in long-term care or wound care.
- SNF Fluency: Deep understanding of how Skilled Nursing Facilities operate, their pain points, and their decision-making hierarchies.
- Financial Literacy: Ability to interpret financial statements and build a business case for our services.
- Travel Readiness: Commitment to a "road warrior" schedule—traveling 4-5 days a week to build and secure new markets.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 (DOE).
- Bonus Structure: High-upside quarterly bonuses tied directly to your successful account closings.
- Full Benefits: Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision.
- Future Security: Generous 401K plan and Life Insurance.
- Work-Life: Paid Time Off and a culture that truly values its employees.
