Who's Hiring

Business Intelligence Intern Jobs in Boston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a business intelligence intern job in Boston?
Boston's strongest hiring for business intelligence interns comes from healthcare technology companies, asset managers, and life sciences firms clustered in the Seaport District, Back Bay, and Longwood Medical Area. Candidates who stand out typically combine SQL and Tableau or Power BI skills with exposure to a relevant domain like clinical data or financial reporting. Applying directly to mid-size firms in these sectors, rather than only large enterprises, tends to open more doors quickly.
Which companies hire business intelligence interns in Boston?
Employers hiring business intelligence interns in Boston right now include CVS Health, WilmerHale, and State Street, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Boston's hiring mix skews toward established healthcare systems, fintech platforms, and data-driven consulting firms that run structured internship programs tied to their analytics teams.
Are there remote business intelligence intern jobs in Boston?
Yes, though availability depends on the role. Business intelligence intern work is desk-based and analytical, making it more remote-friendly than hands-on positions. About 100% of business intelligence intern openings tied to Boston are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, with the fully remote options concentrated at software and fintech employers rather than hospital systems or labs.
How can I get a business intelligence intern job in Boston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Boston is through university co-op programs, particularly at Northeastern, Boston University, and Bentley, which place students directly with local employers on six-month rotations. Boston's mid-size healthcare IT and fintech firms routinely hire candidates with strong coursework in SQL or Python even without prior work experience. Building a portfolio project using publicly available health or financial datasets is a concrete way to stand out in this market.
