Underground Contractors, Inc. is a fiber conduit construction company, we are seeking a dynamic CAD Technician with telecommunications industry experience. The CAD Technician would be responsible for producing detailed digital drawings and models using AutoCAD to assist Engineers, Area Managers, and Project Managers. This position can report to either of our Wixom, MI or Charlotte, MI office locations, this is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated ability to create and edit drawings in AutoCAD
Experience using Google Earth Pro
Experience with Right of Way (RoW) identification
Experience working with Miss Dig Design Tickets
Experience working with different GIS Systems.
Understanding Utility Maps
Excellent Verbal/Written Skills
Excellent Communication skills with both internal coworkers and external customers
Microsoft Office skills
Experience doing Walkout/Surveys
Candidates are subject to pre-placement drug screening and criminal background check.
