About Us
For over 30 years, NorthPoint Tax, Wealth & Business Advisory has elevated the lives of a diverse and remarkable clientele — entrepreneurs, physicians, musicians, business owners, executives, and many more. We deliver holistic solutions across tax, wealth management, and business advisory, all under one roof.
We’re big enough to have the resources and capital to invest meaningfully in our team and our growth — and small enough that you’d be joining at what we’d call the ground level. We love what we do, we have a great team, an impressive client base, and a diversified, sustainable growth plan. The firm is growing, and we’re looking for exceptional people to grow right alongside us.
Put simply, our team is awesome. We have fun, we genuinely care about one another, and we’re all in it together. Everyone here has a real opportunity to grow personally, professionally, and financially.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Senior CPA who is excellent across the full spectrum of tax — planning, preparation, and review — and who genuinely loves working with clients. The right person is as comfortable solving a complex tax question as they are sitting across from a client during an important moment in their life, building the kind of trust and lasting relationships that define a great firm.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role with a clear runway. For the person who makes a meaningful difference here — in our clients’ lives and in the growth of the firm — there is a genuine path to one day becoming a partner. If you’ve been looking for a place where strong work is seen, valued, and rewarded with real ownership and upside, this is it.

- Mentor and elevate team members, raising the bar on technical quality and client service across the firm.
- Collaborate with our wealth management and business advisory teams to deliver truly holistic solutions.
- Help shape the future of a growing firm — your ideas and leadership will have a real seat at the table.
What We’re Looking For
- Active CPA license.
- 10+ years of tax experience, with real depth in planning, preparation, and review.
- Outstanding communicator — someone who connects naturally with clients and builds genuine, lasting trust.
- A relationship-builder at heart, with a sincere desire to help people and be present for them.
- Strong technical command across individual and business taxation; experience with complex returns and entities a big plus.
- Collaborative, team-first work style with high integrity, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- A growth mindset and the ambition to build something lasting — including, for the right person, partnership.

Senior Level Certified Public Accountant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level certified public accountant job?
Employers hiring at this level look for an active CPA license, a demonstrated record of leading audits, complex tax engagements, or financial reporting work, and experience mentoring junior staff. Candidates who can point to specific technical challenges they resolved and decisions they owned tend to stand out. Depth in a specialty such as international tax, public company audits, or forensic accounting strengthens your case further.
Which companies hire senior level certified public accountants?
Companies hiring senior level certified public accountants right now include J.S. Held, Capstone, and Manay CPA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, including national accounting firms, large corporations with internal tax and audit functions, and financial services organizations managing complex regulatory requirements.
Are there remote senior level certified public accountant jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are available at this level, though availability varies by employer and practice area. About 17% of senior level certified public accountant openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making it a realistic option for experienced candidates who prefer flexibility. Tax advisory and advisory-focused roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility compared to audit-heavy positions.
What makes a certified public accountant role senior level?
Senior level certified public accountant roles involve owning engagements end to end rather than executing assigned tasks. At this stage, you are expected to manage client relationships, sign off on technical judgments, guide less experienced staff through complex issues, and take accountability for deliverable quality. The scope is broader, the technical standards are higher, and the expectation is that you operate with minimal supervision on substantive accounting, audit, or tax work.
Which industries hire the most senior level certified public accountants?
Senior Level certified public accountant roles concentrate in Accounting & Auditing, Consulting & Professional Services, and Staffing & Recruiting, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they manage high volumes of complex financial transactions, face significant regulatory reporting obligations, and require experienced accounting professionals who can own technical decisions independently.
