Senior Civil Project Engineer

Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets. Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Position Summary:

We are currently searching for a candidate to fill the full-time position of Senior Civil Project Engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering of substation and transmission line structures, foundations, and civil grading
• Define project parameters; prepare, schedule, coordinate/delegate, and monitor assigned engineering project progress
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Meet submission & fabrication schedules
• Collaborate with and support engineering/drafting teams
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• PE Licensure
• Knowledge of shallow and deep foundation calculations and theory
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience preparing/reviewing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
• Experience preparing/reviewing Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC)
• Site layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control experience
• Knowledge of preparing hydrology and hydraulic calculations
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.
• Excellent skills in the following areas: documentation, organization, communication, and problem-solving
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
