ROLE
At Bloomberg Finance we are committed to providing world-class support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight and thought leadership.
The SAP Datasphere & SAC Developer is responsible for the successful backend design of BW data extraction, transformation, loads and frontend reporting using SAC and AO.
We'll trust you to:
- Contribute to the design and implementation of SAP Datasphere (BDC) solutions, leveraging SAP source systems (S/4HANA, BW).
- Support the existing BW team in transitioning from on-premise BW to Datasphere cloud architecture, learning and applying recommended migration approaches and best practices.
- Develop and maintain data models (Live & Acquired) in Datasphere for analytics and planning use cases.
- Build and manage data ingestion and transformation pipelines (Replication Flows, Data Flows, ETL processes).
- Create and enhance SAC stories and dashboards, following best practices for performance and usability.
- Implement business logic including calculated/restricted KPIs, allocations, and forecasting scenarios.
- Develop and optimize HANA artifacts (calculation views, SQL scripting, table functions).
- Create and support analytical queries (BW/BEx or Datasphere equivalents) for reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data architects, senior developers, and business users to deliver scalable solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on project implementation experience with SAP Datasphere (BDC).
- Minimum 5 years of SAP BW experience.
- Proven experience in cloud migration or transformation initiatives, preferably Hybrid architecture (BW + Datasphere).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technology field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with BTP, BOBJ, Alteryx and Databricks.
- Domain Knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain and HR.
- Adherence to IT/SAP project methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA.
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range = 90 - 100 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
