INTRODUCTION
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest.
ABOUT THE REVENUE TEAM
The Revenue team drives Affirm's top-line growth through strategic partnerships, pricing, and go-to-market execution. We acquire, retain, and expand merchant relationships across eCommerce, in-store, telesales, and the Affirm app. The team leads onboarding, relationship management, and performance optimization to help partners succeed. We deliver value-added solutions, drive adoption, and support long-term business growth by connecting merchants and consumers through Affirm's products.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We're looking for a curious, driven analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. Revenue Operations serves as the backbone of the Revenue organization at Affirm. We follow a data-driven approach that combines elements of strategy, systems, process, and analytics to align go-to-market motions across the organization.
As a Revenue Operations Analyst II, you will be a key partner to our Marketing, Business Development, and early Sales teams - focused on making the top of the funnel predictable, clean, and scalable. You'll design and optimize the processes, automation, and tooling that govern how leads, contacts, and accounts enter the revenue funnel, ensuring downstream teams can execute with confidence. The ideal candidate is equal parts tactical, building automation and workflows, and strategic thinking through lifecycle design, routing logic, and coverage models that scale with the business.
- Design and optimize top of funnel merchant lifecycle processes — from Marketing touch through Contact creation, Account readiness, and Discovery handoff — with an emphasis on automation, data quality, and clear documentation
- Own and define lead routing logic, automation triggers, and lifecycle dependencies that govern how leads and accounts move through the top of funnel; partner with Business Systems for implementation
- Own cross-functional initiatives end to end — managing stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, Product, Revenue Ops, Analytics, and others
- Support attribution tracking and funnel conversion analysis for Marketing, BDA, and early funnel performance to surface actionable insights
- Own workflow automations (e.g., Slack notifications, cross-tool workflows, process triggers) that improve speed-to-lead and reduce manual work
- Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve Salesforce and adjacent GTM tooling for lead and account management efficiency; define processes to ensure data integrity at funnel entry
- Partner with Revenue Enablement to train and support revenue teams on top of funnel processes and tooling changes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required
- 2+ years of revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing operations experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce (experience as an administrator is a plus); familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, HubSpot)
- Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets and a solid understanding of business intelligence tools
- Experience with lead lifecycle management, lead routing tools (e.g., RingLead, LeanData), data enrichment tools (e.g., Clay, Zoominfo), or lead scoring and attribution frameworks is preferred
- Proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout projects
- Prior experience in data analysis, reporting, and funnel performance measurement
- A strong sense of organization, a growth mentality, and a bias toward documenting and systematizing repeatable processes

Align your resume to fintech operations metrics
Affirm's Business Operations teams work heavily with loan performance, merchant partnerships, and payment processing workflows. Frame your experience around quantifiable process improvements, cross-functional project coordination, or financial modeling in regulated environments rather than generic analyst work.
Confirm your visa type before applying
Affirm sponsors multiple visa categories, but not every role is approved for every status. Before submitting, verify that your specific visa type is supported for the Business Operations Analyst level you're targeting, since mid-level and senior tracks can have different sponsorship pathways.
Target roles during annual H-1B registration windows
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year for October 1 starts. Time your application to Affirm so an offer letter can realistically be in place before the registration deadline, giving your employer enough runway to prepare a compliant petition.
Prepare degree equivalency documentation early
Affirm's specialty occupation filings require USCIS to verify your degree directly relates to the role. If your degree is from outside the U.S. or in a tangentially related field, get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved service before the offer stage to avoid delays.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open roles efficiently
Affirm posts Business Operations Analyst openings across multiple channels and not all flag sponsorship clearly. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track current openings at Affirm that are verified for visa sponsorship, so you're not applying blind to roles that won't move forward.
Ask recruiters specifically about PERM timeline policy
If your goal is a Green Card, ask Affirm's recruiting team early whether the Business Operations Analyst role is eligible for employer-sponsored PERM labor certification. Some operational roles qualify under EB-2 or EB-3, but sponsorship policy varies by level and business unit.

Find Business Operations Analyst at Affirm JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Affirm sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations Analysts?
Yes, Affirm sponsors H-1B visas for Business Operations Analyst roles. The company operates in financial services technology, which USCIS generally recognizes as a specialty occupation environment. You'll need a qualifying degree in a field directly related to the role, such as finance, economics, business analytics, or a related discipline, to support a compliant petition.
How do I apply for Business Operations Analyst jobs at Affirm?
Apply through Affirm's careers page or use Migrate Mate to find and filter open Business Operations Analyst roles at Affirm that are verified for visa sponsorship. Tailor your application to fintech-specific operations work, including experience with payment systems, data analysis, or cross-functional program management. Reaching out to Affirm's recruiting team after submitting can help your application move faster.
Which visa types does Affirm commonly sponsor for Business Operations Analyst roles?
Affirm sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for qualifying roles. F-1 students can often start on CPT or OPT while an H-1B petition is prepared. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories under the USMCA agreement.
What qualifications does Affirm expect for Business Operations Analyst candidates needing sponsorship?
Affirm typically expects a bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, data analytics, or a closely related field. Strong SQL or data visualization skills are frequently listed in job postings. For sponsorship purposes, your degree must be directly relevant to the specialty occupation, so a general management degree with no quantitative component may face more USCIS scrutiny.
How long does the sponsorship process take for an Affirm Business Operations Analyst offer?
Timeline depends on your visa category. For H-1B cap-subject petitions, USCIS registration opens in March with an October 1 start date, so the full process can take six months or more from offer to work authorization. USCIS premium processing can reduce petition adjudication to 15 business days once filed. OPT and TN transfers typically move faster and can support a quicker start.
