Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
Logistics roles at fashion and apparel companies can attract USCIS scrutiny over whether they meet specialty occupation requirements. Frame your degree and experience around supply chain management, operations research, or industrial engineering rather than general business to strengthen your H-1B petition.
Research Alo's DOL filings before applying
Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data for Alo's Labor Condition Application filings to see which logistics job titles they've sponsored previously. This tells you which role descriptions have already cleared the prevailing wage certification process and which are realistic targets.
Time your application around Alo's hiring cycles
Activewear brands like Alo scale logistics headcount ahead of peak retail seasons, typically ramping up hiring in late summer and early winter. Applying during these windows gives you a better shot at an offer that can support a timely H-1B or TN filing.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Ask specifically whether Alo will cover Green Card sponsorship through PERM and EB-2 or EB-3 in addition to an initial H-1B. Some employers sponsor the nonimmigrant visa but defer or decline immigrant petition support, and knowing this before you sign matters.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Alo logistics openings by visa type
Not every logistics posting at Alo is open to sponsored candidates. Use Migrate Mate to filter Alo's active logistics roles by the visa categories they accept, so you're only spending time on positions where your work authorization status is explicitly supported.
Prepare for F-1 OPT cap-gap if your offer extends into fall
If you're on F-1 OPT and receive an Alo offer that bridges the H-1B October 1 start date, confirm your cap-gap authorization covers the gap. USCIS automatically extends OPT status during this window, but your I-20 must reflect a timely H-1B filing to remain work-authorized.

Find Logistics at Alo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Alo sponsor H-1B visas for Logistics roles?
Yes, Alo has sponsored H-1B visas for logistics and supply chain positions. For H-1B sponsorship to apply to a logistics role, the position typically needs to require a specific bachelor's degree in a field like supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research rather than accepting any degree. Roles framed as generalist coordinator positions can be harder to qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards.
How do I apply for Logistics jobs at Alo?
Applications for logistics roles at Alo go through their careers portal. Before applying, confirm the posting explicitly welcomes candidates who need visa sponsorship, since not every logistics opening is approved for international hires. Migrate Mate filters Alo's active listings by visa type, which helps you identify which logistics roles are realistic for your specific work authorization situation before you invest time in an application.
Which visa types are commonly used for Logistics roles at Alo?
Alo supports several visa categories for logistics hires, including H-1B for specialty occupation roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying logistics or supply chain roles, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant petitions for longer-term employees on the path to a Green Card. The right category depends on your nationality, degree field, and the specific role level.
What qualifications does Alo expect for sponsored Logistics positions?
Alo's logistics roles in fashion and apparel typically require experience with inventory systems, vendor coordination, or distribution operations relevant to a consumer goods or retail supply chain. For sponsored positions, a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related technical field is generally expected. Familiarity with apparel-specific workflows like purchase order management, 3PL coordination, or allocation planning strengthens your candidacy.
How do I understand the timeline for visa sponsorship after receiving an offer from Alo?
Timeline depends heavily on which visa category applies. TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals can be obtained at the border and is among the fastest paths. H-1B petitions filed under regular processing take several months, with an October 1 start date if filed in the spring lottery cycle. If Alo files for PERM labor certification toward a Green Card, that process typically runs one to two years before an immigrant petition can follow.
