Frame your experience around supply chain outcomes
DoorDash Logistics roles prioritize candidates who can demonstrate measurable impact on delivery efficiency, routing, or fulfillment operations. Quantify past results in your resume before applying so hiring managers can map your background directly to their network scale challenges.
Target roles that align with your visa category
DoorDash sponsors multiple visa types for Logistics, including H-1B, E-3, and TN. Check that the specific role you're applying to meets the specialty occupation standard for your visa category, since not every Logistics title carries the same degree requirement in USCIS adjudications.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Logistics roles at DoorDash
Sponsorship-willing employers aren't always obvious from a job listing. Search Migrate Mate to surface DoorDash's active Logistics openings filtered by visa type, so you're only investing time in roles where your work authorization situation is already accounted for.
Ask about LCA filing timelines before accepting an offer
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition can move forward. Confirm that DoorDash's immigration team has the role's prevailing wage determination ready, especially if your start date is tied to an OPT or grace period deadline.
Prepare your credential documentation before interviews progress
DoorDash Logistics roles often require a degree in supply chain management, operations research, industrial engineering, or a closely related field. Gather official transcripts and any credential evaluation for non-U.S. degrees early so there's no delay when your immigration attorney begins petition prep.
Understand how F-1 OPT gaps affect Logistics hiring timelines
If you're on F-1 OPT and targeting a DoorDash Logistics role, align your application timing with your OPT expiration. The 60-day grace period does not authorize work, so coordinating your start date with USCIS receipt of an H-1B or cap-exempt petition is critical for continuous employment eligibility.

Find Logistics at DoorDash JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Logistics roles?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Logistics positions. The role must qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as supply chain management, operations research, or industrial engineering. DoorDash works with immigration counsel to file the required Labor Condition Application with DOL and the I-129 petition with USCIS on the employee's behalf.
How do I apply for Logistics jobs at DoorDash?
You can browse and apply for DoorDash Logistics roles directly through Migrate Mate, which filters open positions by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your work authorization situation before investing time in the application. Once you identify a role, apply through DoorDash's careers portal and indicate your visa status early in the recruiter conversation to avoid surprises later in the process.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly use for Logistics positions?
DoorDash sponsors a range of visa categories for Logistics roles, including H-1B, H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican professionals under USMCA, and F-1 OPT and CPT for students. For longer-term pathways, DoorDash also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship and J-1 exchange visitor programs depending on the role and candidate situation.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for sponsored Logistics roles?
DoorDash Logistics roles typically require a degree in supply chain management, operations research, industrial engineering, or a related quantitative field. Hands-on experience with logistics platforms, routing optimization, or large-scale fulfillment operations strengthens your profile. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree must align closely with the job duties, since USCIS evaluates the specific field of study, not just degree level, when adjudicating specialty occupation petitions.
How do I manage the sponsorship timeline when switching to DoorDash on a work visa?
If you're transferring from another employer on H-1B status, DoorDash can file an H-1B transfer petition and you're authorized to start working once USCIS receives the petition, not after approval. For E-3 or TN holders, the process differs since both require new visa documentation before a status change is valid. Confirm with DoorDash's immigration team which filing strategy applies to your situation before you give notice to your current employer.
