Align Your Credentials to Healthcare Logistics
Cardinal Health's Logistics roles sit at the intersection of supply chain and regulated healthcare distribution. Certifications like APICS CSCP or CLTD signal direct readiness for their distribution center and inventory management environments and strengthen your sponsorship case.
Target Roles by Distribution Site Location
Cardinal Health operates large distribution centers across the U.S., and sponsorship decisions often originate at the regional level. Applying to roles tied to specific facilities rather than generic corporate postings puts your application in front of hiring managers with active headcount.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Logistics Openings
Finding confirmed sponsorship-eligible Logistics postings at Cardinal Health takes more than a basic job board search. Migrate Mate filters Cardinal Health openings by visa type so you only spend time on roles where sponsorship is actually on the table.
Time Your OPT Application Around Cardinal Health's Hiring Cycles
Cardinal Health recruits Logistics talent on a rolling basis tied to distribution volume, not just a single annual cycle. If you're on F-1 OPT, apply early enough to leave room for onboarding before your OPT end date, since CPT authorization must be secured through your university before employment starts.
Understand How PERM Fits Long-Term Logistics Careers
For Green Card sponsorship via EB-2 or EB-3, Cardinal Health typically initiates PERM labor certification after you've demonstrated sustained performance in a Logistics role. DOL processing for PERM can run well over a year, so discussing this pathway during offer negotiations sets realistic expectations for both sides.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During the Offer Stage
Cardinal Health sponsors multiple visa types for Logistics roles, but the specific pathway depends on your current status, the role level, and business need. Ask the recruiter directly which visa category the role is approved for and whether USCIS premium processing is available before you accept.

Does Cardinal Health sponsor H-1B visas for Logistics roles?
Yes, Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Logistics positions. Roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, typically those requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain, operations management, or a related field, are eligible. H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual cap and lottery, so timing your application with the April filing window is essential if you're not already in H-1B status.
How do I apply for Logistics jobs at Cardinal Health?
Apply directly through Cardinal Health's careers portal, where Logistics openings are listed by location and function. Before applying, confirm the posting supports visa sponsorship, since not every role does. Migrate Mate aggregates Cardinal Health's Logistics openings and filters them by visa type, which saves significant time identifying the right opportunities before you invest in a full application.
Which visa types does Cardinal Health commonly use for Logistics roles?
Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Logistics professionals. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations like engineers or management consultants. OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates before transitioning to H-1B sponsorship.
What qualifications does Cardinal Health expect for sponsored Logistics roles?
Most sponsored Logistics roles at Cardinal Health require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, industrial engineering, or business. Relevant experience in distribution center operations, inventory control, or healthcare logistics is a strong differentiator. Roles involving SAP, warehouse management systems, or experience within regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical distribution environments are particularly competitive.
How do I navigate the visa filing timeline for a Logistics offer at Cardinal Health?
Timeline depends heavily on your current visa status. If you're on OPT, confirm your work authorization end date before accepting an offer, since H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year with an October 1 start date. For TN candidates, processing is faster and doesn't require USCIS approval in advance. For Green Card sponsorship, PERM labor certification through DOL is the standard first step and can take one to two years to complete.
