About the Team
DoorDash for Business is building the premier corporate dining and benefits platform—helping companies of all sizes feed their teams through industry-leading products and meal programs. Our mission is to become the go-to solution for executives, administrators, and employees who need seamless, high-quality food programs at work. We move fast, operate with an ownership mindset, and are growing new product lines to better serve our corporate customers.
About the Role
At DoorDash for Business, we believe that the reliability and quality of our service is our competitive advantage, and we are looking for a leader who is passionate about digging into the data to root cause operations and delivery problems in order to create a seamless experience for customers and merchants alike. As an Associate for the Catering team, you will play a key role in analyzing, tracking, and improving delivery quality, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify trends, support new delivery models, scope impactful initiatives, and support the execution of quality improvement strategies.
Your work will be both strategic and deeply operational. You can one day be sizing the impact of new delivery models on quality improvements, then leading an experiment to drive real-world improvements. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by building from the ground up, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and excited to shape how two high-priority product lines grow.
You will report into the Manager, Strategy & Operations for DoorDash for Business and can work remotely or hybrid depending preference.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Own quality improvement workstreams: that address the most unique and challenging questions within two new high-stakes DoorDash for Business product lines
- Run experiments and operations tests: assist in structuring and executing operational tests to identify solutions for improving on-time delivery and setup quality
- Support execution at scale: after proving out a concept, translating the wins into scalable solutions that we can apply across the entire network.
- Drive analytical rigor: by building and owning models that track initiative success, key quality metrics, weekly and annual costs, and support the development of internal reporting tools to measure and monitor network performance.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships: by regularly partnering with Logistics, LiveOps, Analytics, Engineering, and Product teams to build quarterly roadmaps, scope and assess initiatives that can improve the quality of our logistics system
We're excited about you because…
- You're strategic and process-oriented – You can break down challenging problems, build hypotheses supported by data, and implement experiments while keeping our teams aligned and informed with your work.
- You're highly analytical – You are fluent in data and modeling (Excel, SQL, Python, Sigma, or network modeling tools) and use it to ground your decisions.
- You thrive in scaling environments – You're comfortable operating with ambiguity and building solutions in uncharted territory.
- You're cross-functional – You've led initiatives that align operations, product, and finance around a shared strategy.

Align your credentials to operations roles
DoorDash Program Associates work on scaled operational initiatives, so frame your resume around project execution, cross-functional coordination, and measurable outcomes. Hiring teams look for evidence you can manage ambiguity across business lines, not just task completion.
Target teams with open sponsorship pipelines
DoorDash hires Program Associates across multiple verticals including merchant, logistics, and platform operations. Researching which teams are actively posting roles helps you apply where sponsorship-eligible hiring is already in motion, not as an exception.
Disclose your visa status early in recruiting
DoorDash's recruiting process moves quickly. Disclosing your visa type and authorization timeline upfront avoids misalignment late in the process and lets the team confirm sponsorship eligibility before offer stage, not after.
Understand timing differences across your visa options
H-1B cap-subject filings require registration in March with an October start date, while E-3 and H-1B1 visas have no lottery and can be filed year-round. Knowing which category applies to you shapes how you time your job search and offer negotiations.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsorship roles
Searching broadly wastes time on roles where sponsorship isn't offered. Use Migrate Mate to filter Program Associate openings at DoorDash by visa type, so every application targets a position where your work authorization category is already supported.

Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Program Associates?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Program Associate roles. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual cap and lottery, cap-subject candidates need to register in March for an October start. If you hold an H-1B already or qualify for cap-exempt filing, transfers can proceed at any point in the year.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly sponsor for Program Associates?
DoorDash sponsors a range of visa categories for this function, including H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is also available. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree, and career timeline, so confirm which category applies to your situation before applying.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for Program Associate roles?
DoorDash typically looks for candidates with strong analytical ability, experience managing complex projects, and comfort working across multiple teams simultaneously. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is standard. Candidates who can demonstrate experience in operations, strategy, or program management in a fast-moving environment are generally most competitive for this role.
How do I apply for Program Associate jobs at DoorDash?
You can find and filter active Program Associate openings at DoorDash on Migrate Mate, which lets you search by visa type so you only see roles where your work authorization is supported. Once you identify a relevant opening, applications go through DoorDash's own careers portal. Disclosing your visa status early in the process helps the recruiting team confirm sponsorship eligibility before the offer stage.
How do I manage timeline expectations when job searching at DoorDash on a visa?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. E-3, H-1B1, and TN visas can be filed and approved relatively quickly, sometimes within weeks of an offer. H-1B cap-subject candidates face a March lottery with an October start, which may require bridging on OPT or another status. Factor your current authorization end date into your outreach timing so you have enough runway to complete the process.
