Align your SDM experience to DoorDash's merchant growth motion
DoorDash SDM roles focus heavily on pipeline generation for restaurant and retail merchant acquisition. Frame your resume around outbound prospecting metrics, team ramp speed, and quota attainment in a high-velocity sales environment rather than enterprise account management.
Request the LCA filing timeline at offer acceptance
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with DOL before USCIS can process your petition. Ask the DoorDash immigration contact when LCA filing will begin so you can plan your start date around that certification window.
Target DoorDash SDM openings through Migrate Mate
Filter verified Sales Development Manager listings at DoorDash by visa type on Migrate Mate so you only pursue roles where your specific sponsorship category is already supported, cutting wasted applications and recruiter conversations early in the process.
Prepare credential documentation before recruiter screening
Sales Development Manager roles at technology companies typically require demonstrated degree qualifications for specialty occupation classification. Have your transcripts, degree equivalency evaluation if your credential is from outside the U.S., and employment verification letters ready before your first USCIS-required documentation request.

Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Development Managers?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Development Manager roles. Which visa types does DoorDash commonly sponsor for Sales Development Manager roles?
DoorDash supports a range of visa categories for this function, including H-1B, H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican professionals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, J-1 for exchange visitors, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term sponsorship.

Cap-subject H-1B petitions can only be filed for an October 1 start date, and USCIS registration opens each March.
