Frame Your Sourcing Experience for Apparel
Alo recruits procurement talent with direct experience in apparel or consumer goods supply chains. Reframe your credentials around fabric sourcing, vendor onboarding, or landed cost negotiations before you apply, not after you get an interview request.
Map Alo's Supplier Base Before Applying
Alo works with manufacturers across Asia and Latin America. Demonstrating familiarity with those sourcing regions, trade compliance requirements, or relevant tariff classifications signals to hiring managers that you can contribute immediately, which matters when they're weighing sponsorship costs.
Verify Your Role Qualifies as a Specialty Occupation
H-1B eligibility requires the position to demand a specific bachelor's degree. For procurement, USCIS scrutinizes generalist titles, so confirm the job description specifies supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a comparable field before assuming you qualify.
Use Migrate Mate to Identify Alo's Active Procurement Openings
Alo posts procurement roles across seniority levels, but openings move quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for Alo procurement positions that explicitly include visa sponsorship, so you're applying to confirmed opportunities rather than guessing at sponsorship willingness.
Align Your Offer Timing with the H-1B Cap Calendar
If you need H-1B cap sponsorship, your start date must align with the October 1 fiscal year. Work backward with your recruiter so the DOL Labor Condition Application and USCIS petition filing deadlines are built into your offer negotiation timeline.

Find Procurement at Alo JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Alo sponsor H-1B visas for Procurements?
Yes, Alo has sponsored H-1B visas for procurement and supply chain roles. Eligibility depends on whether the specific position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which typically requires the role to mandate a degree in a directly related field such as supply chain management, operations, or industrial engineering rather than a general business degree.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at Alo?
You can find open Procurement roles on Alo's careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions with confirmed visa sponsorship. Tailor your application to highlight apparel-specific sourcing experience, vendor management, and any exposure to the suppliers or sourcing regions Alo works with. Procurement hiring at Alo is competitive, so specificity matters.
Which visa types does Alo commonly use for Procurement roles?
Alo has sponsored procurement candidates under the H-1B, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT categories, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. TN visas are a faster path for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying procurement or supply chain roles. F-1 students completing operations or supply chain programs often enter through OPT before transitioning to employer-sponsored status.
What qualifications does Alo expect for Procurement roles?
Alo typically looks for candidates with backgrounds in supply chain management, sourcing, or operations, often with direct experience in apparel or consumer goods. Familiarity with vendor compliance, cost negotiation, and international logistics is valued. Senior roles may require category-specific experience in textiles or finished goods. A degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, or a related field strengthens both your application and your H-1B specialty occupation case.
How do I know if Alo will sponsor my specific visa category for a Procurement role?
Sponsorship eligibility varies by role, level, and your current immigration status. The most reliable approach is to confirm sponsorship directly during the recruiter screening call. If you're in the H-1B lottery cycle, plan around USCIS's March registration window and the October 1 start date. For cap-exempt situations such as a transfer or change of employer, timelines are shorter but still require DOL Labor Condition Application certification before the petition can be filed.
