Frame your credentials around advisory deliverables
Deloitte Procurement roles favor candidates who can show client-facing impact, not just operational experience. Translate your sourcing or vendor management work into consulting language: cost savings realized, stakeholder engagement, and process transformation outcomes before you apply.
Target Deloitte's sourcing and vendor management openings
Deloitte Procurement hiring clusters around strategic sourcing, supply chain transformation, and third-party risk management. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Procurement roles at Deloitte by visa type so you can identify which positions align with your sponsorship category before reaching out.
Understand how Deloitte structures LCA filings for consulting roles
Because Deloitte deploys consultants across multiple client sites, your Labor Condition Application through DOL may list the home office rather than a client location. Clarify the prevailing wage worksite with your recruiter early, since this affects your LCA before USCIS sees your petition.
Align your visa category to the role level
Deloitte sponsors E-3 for Australian nationals and H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals in Procurement roles, not only H-1B. If you qualify for a specialty treaty visa, raise it during the offer stage, as these pathways avoid the H-1B lottery entirely and process faster.
Prepare for a structured interview format in Procurement
Deloitte Procurement interviews typically include a case component alongside behavioral rounds. Prepare cost-benefit scenarios specific to sourcing strategy or supplier consolidation, since hiring managers assess consulting readiness, not just procurement domain knowledge, when evaluating international candidates.
Build your timeline around Deloitte's fiscal year hiring cycles
Deloitte's Procurement practice ramps hiring ahead of its September fiscal year-end. If you need H-1B sponsorship, an offer confirmed by late fall positions you for the April USCIS filing window with the full six months before an October 1 start date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Procurement roles?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Procurement positions. Procurement roles in consulting typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards because they require at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management, business, or engineering. Sponsorship is handled through Deloitte's internal immigration team, and the process begins after a formal offer is extended.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Procurement positions?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for Procurement roles depending on your nationality. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which has no lottery. Chilean and Singaporean nationals qualify for the H-1B1. Deloitte also supports Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 and EB-3 classifications for longer-tenured employees, typically initiated after you have established performance in the role.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where Procurement roles are listed under Supply Chain and Network Operations or Strategy and Analytics depending on the service line. You can browse open Procurement positions at Deloitte that offer visa sponsorship using Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you can confirm sponsorship eligibility before applying. Referrals from current Deloitte staff meaningfully improve response rates.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for Procurement roles?
Most Procurement roles at Deloitte require a bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field, and a relevant advanced degree strengthens your profile for senior positions. Consulting-specific credentials such as CPP or CPSM help, but Deloitte prioritizes demonstrated client delivery experience, strategic sourcing expertise, and the ability to operate in a project-based environment alongside strong analytical skills.
How do I manage the H-1B timeline when targeting a Deloitte Procurement role?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year for an October 1 start date. To hit that window, you need a confirmed offer from Deloitte before the registration period opens. If you are on OPT, the 60-day grace period and any available STEM extension matter significantly for timing. Deloitte's immigration team manages USCIS filings directly once your offer is in place, so align your job search to Deloitte's fall and winter recruiting cycle.
