Frame Your Experience Around Client-Facing Delivery
Slalom's Procurement roles often support consulting engagements rather than internal operations alone. Reframe your resume to show how your sourcing or vendor work drove measurable outcomes for clients or cross-functional teams, not just cost savings for a single employer.
Confirm Sponsorship Willingness Before Applying
Slalom sponsors across multiple visa types, but not every Procurement opening is approved for sponsorship at the requisition level. Contact the recruiter early in the process to confirm the specific role supports your visa category before investing time in interviews.
Align Your Credentials to Specialty Occupation Standards
For H-1B eligibility, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Procurement positions in consulting frequently meet this bar when tied to strategic sourcing or supply chain analytics, so make sure your degree field is clearly aligned in your application materials.
Target Slalom Openings Using Migrate Mate
Procurement roles with visa sponsorship are scattered across Slalom's regional offices. Use Migrate Mate to filter Slalom Procurement postings by visa type so you're only spending time on roles that match your sponsorship situation.
Time Your Application Around Slalom's Consulting Cycles
Slalom ramps hiring when it wins new consulting contracts, which means Procurement openings can appear outside standard recruiting seasons. Monitoring their careers page consistently throughout the year gives you an edge over candidates waiting for peak hiring windows.
Prepare for Offer-Stage Timing if H-1B Cap Applies
If you need a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS's April 1 filing window means your start date cannot be earlier than October 1. Align your offer negotiation to this reality so Slalom's HR team can plan the LCA filing with the DOL well ahead of the registration period.

Find Procurement at Slalom JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Slalom sponsor H-1B visas for Procurement roles?
Yes, Slalom sponsors H-1B visas for Procurement positions. The role needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines, which Procurement work in consulting typically meets when the position requires a relevant bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain, business, or a related field. Confirming sponsorship availability with the recruiter early in the process is the most reliable approach.
How do I apply for Procurement jobs at Slalom?
Applications go through Slalom's careers portal, where Procurement roles are listed by region and practice area. Tailoring your application to reflect consulting delivery experience rather than purely internal operations gives you the strongest signal. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse current Slalom Procurement openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, which saves time identifying roles that match your situation.
Which visa types does Slalom commonly use for Procurement positions?
Slalom sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Procurement roles, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. E-3 is available to Australian citizens only. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Which pathway fits your situation depends on your citizenship, degree, and where you are in your career stage.
What qualifications does Slalom expect for Procurement roles?
Slalom typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field, combined with hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, or procurement operations. Consulting-sector experience or exposure to client-facing project delivery is a differentiator. For visa sponsorship purposes, having a degree that clearly maps to the role's responsibilities strengthens your specialty occupation case with USCIS.
How do I manage timing if I need H-1B sponsorship for a Slalom Procurement role?
If you require a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS only accepts petitions starting April 1 for an October 1 start date. This means aligning your offer and negotiation timeline to allow Slalom's HR team enough runway to file the Labor Condition Application with the DOL and submit the H-1B petition during the registration window. Starting the conversation with your recruiter at least five to six months before your intended start date avoids gaps.
