Document Your QC Certifications Before Applying
Applied Industrial Technologies values credentials like ASQ CQT or ISO 9001 auditor training for QC roles. Gather your certification records, inspection logs, and documented quality metrics now so they're ready when the hiring team requests them.
Target Locations With Active QC Openings
Applied Industrial Technologies operates distribution and service centers across the U.S., and QC Technician openings are not evenly distributed. Focus your applications on facilities with active postings rather than applying broadly to the company at a national level.
Clarify Sponsorship During the Offer Stage
Ask directly whether the role is eligible for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship before accepting an offer. Some QC Technician positions qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers, but the job duties and minimum requirements on the offer letter must align with what the employer files with DOL under PERM.
Understand the PERM Timeline for This Role
EB-3 sponsorship for QC Technicians requires PERM labor certification, which involves DOL recruitment requirements and can take a year or more before an I-140 petition is filed. Build that timeline into your employment planning so visa status gaps don't catch you off guard.
Align Your Resume With DOL Prevailing Wage Standards
The job duties and experience level you describe on your resume should match what Applied Industrial Technologies will certify under PERM. Overstating seniority or scope can create inconsistencies that complicate the labor certification process with DOL.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsored QC Openings
Search Migrate Mate to filter Quality Control Technician openings at Applied Industrial Technologies by sponsorship type. It saves you from manually screening postings and helps you prioritize roles where EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship is already part of the hiring process.

Does Applied Industrial Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Quality Control Technicians?
Quality Control Technician roles at Applied Industrial Technologies are primarily sponsored through EB-2 or EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways rather than the H-1B. H-1B sponsorship is more common for roles classified as specialty occupations requiring a directly related bachelor's degree, and QC Technician positions often follow a different sponsorship route through PERM labor certification.
Which visa types are commonly used for Quality Control Technician roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
EB-3 is the most common pathway for Quality Control Technician roles at companies like Applied Industrial Technologies, covering skilled workers who meet the job's minimum requirements. EB-2 may apply in cases where the position requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability. Both pathways require PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor before the immigrant petition can be submitted to USCIS.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Quality Control Technician roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Applied Industrial Technologies typically looks for candidates with hands-on inspection or quality assurance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments. Familiarity with ISO quality standards, measurement tools, and documentation practices strengthens your application. Certifications such as ASQ's Certified Quality Technician designation are not always required but signal the kind of structured quality background the company values in this function.
How do I apply for Quality Control Technician jobs at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Browse open Quality Control Technician positions at Applied Industrial Technologies on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can identify relevant openings faster. Apply through the company's official careers portal and tailor your resume to match the specific job duties listed, since those descriptions feed directly into the PERM labor certification documentation if sponsorship is offered.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Quality Control Technician at Applied Industrial Technologies?
For EB-3 sponsorship, the process starts with PERM labor certification at the DOL, which can take six months to over a year depending on audit risk and processing backlogs. After PERM approval, the employer files an I-140 petition with USCIS. Candidates from countries with high demand, such as India, may face additional waits due to visa priority date backlogs before they can complete adjustment of status.
