Frame Your Technical Sales Background Precisely
Applied Industrial Technologies sells bearings, power transmission, and fluid power products to industrial clients. Tailor your resume to show solutions-based selling in manufacturing, MRO, or distribution environments, not general B2B sales experience.
Target Open Territories Before Applying Broadly
Applied posts Sales Specialist roles by geographic territory. Identify openings in regions with active industrial manufacturing activity, where hiring demand is highest and managers have stronger motivation to move through sponsorship paperwork.
Confirm EB-2 or EB-3 Eligibility Before Your Offer Stage
Permanent residence sponsorship through PERM requires the employer to demonstrate your qualifications match a defined role. Review the DOL's prevailing wage requirements for your sales classification early, so you're not caught off guard during offer negotiations.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Sponsorship Openings
Not every Sales Specialist posting at Applied will include sponsorship language upfront. Search Migrate Mate to surface roles where Applied has actively filed for employment-based visas, so you prioritize applications where sponsorship is already in motion.
Prepare a PERM-Ready Credentials File in Advance
PERM audits require official degree transcripts, credential evaluations for foreign qualifications, and employment verification letters. Gathering these before your start date means Applied's legal team can move immediately once the labor certification process opens.

Find Sales Specialist at Applied Industrial Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Applied Industrial Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Specialists?
Applied Industrial Technologies' sponsorship activity for Sales Specialists is concentrated in employment-based permanent residence pathways rather than H-1B. If you're currently on H-1B status with another employer, a transfer is possible, but you should raise that directly with the recruiter during your initial conversations to confirm whether the specific role supports it.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Specialist roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Applied's sponsorship filings for Sales Specialists have involved EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories, both processed through the PERM labor certification system administered by the DOL. EB-3 is the more common pathway for sales roles that require a bachelor's degree, while EB-2 applies where the position demands advanced qualifications or significant industry expertise.
What qualifications and experience does Applied Industrial Technologies expect for Sales Specialist roles?
Applied typically looks for candidates with a background in industrial distribution, mechanical engineering technology, or a related technical field, combined with direct sales or account management experience. Familiarity with products like bearings, hydraulics, or conveyor systems is a practical differentiator. A four-year degree is standard, though demonstrable field experience in MRO or manufacturing environments carries real weight.
How do I apply for Sales Specialist jobs at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Browse open Sales Specialist positions on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Applied Industrial Technologies roles where employment-based sponsorship has been part of their hiring history. Apply directly through the posting, and during the interview process, ask the recruiter specifically about the company's immigration support for the role and which legal resources they work with for PERM filings.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Sales Specialist positions at Applied Industrial Technologies?
PERM labor certification through the DOL currently takes several months to over a year before the I-140 petition stage begins with USCIS. For EB-3 applicants from countries with backlogged priority dates, total Green Card timelines extend significantly beyond that. Raising the timeline early in negotiations helps you and Applied plan the sponsorship filing around your expected start date.
