Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Specialist Jobs at USI Insurance Services Jobs
Frame your insurance credentials for U.S. licensing
State insurance producer licenses are required to sell in the U.S., and USI will expect you to obtain them. Research which lines of authority match the role you're targeting and show hiring managers you understand the licensing path before they ask.
Target USI's regional offices with active pipelines
USI operates across dozens of markets, and Sales Specialist openings cluster around commercial hubs. Focus your outreach on offices in states with high insurance market activity, where producers are hired more regularly and sponsorship conversations happen more naturally.
Quantify your book of business or sales metrics
USI evaluates Sales Specialists on revenue generation and client acquisition. Concrete numbers from prior roles, even in non-U.S. markets, signal that you can perform against quota and reduce the perceived risk of sponsoring a candidate without a domestic track record.
Use Migrate Mate to find active Sales Specialist openings at USI
Roles that include visa sponsorship aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Search Migrate Mate to filter USI Insurance Services openings by sponsorship eligibility so you're applying to positions where your immigration status is already accounted for.
Confirm LCA filing timing with the hiring team before accepting
DOL requires a certified Labor Condition Application before USCIS can approve most work visa petitions. If your OPT or current status is expiring within 60 days of a potential start date, raise LCA timing explicitly so the offer structure accounts for processing windows.

Find Sales Specialist at USI Insurance Services JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Specialists?
USI Insurance Services has not consistently appeared as an H-1B sponsor for Sales Specialist roles specifically. Their documented sponsorship activity for this function centers on other visa categories. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement for you, confirm directly with USI's HR team during the offer stage, as sponsorship decisions are made at the business unit level.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Specialist roles at USI Insurance Services?
USI has sponsored Sales Specialist candidates on E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens, while TN covers Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are most relevant for recent graduates transitioning into full-time insurance sales roles.
What qualifications or experience does USI Insurance Services expect for Sales Specialist roles?
USI typically looks for candidates with a background in insurance sales, risk management, or financial services. A bachelor's degree is standard, and state insurance producer licensing is usually required or expected within a defined period after hire. Prior experience managing client relationships or growing a book of business strengthens your profile, particularly if you lack a U.S.-based sales history.
How do I apply for Sales Specialist jobs at USI Insurance Services?
Start by browsing current openings on Migrate Mate, which surfaces USI Insurance Services roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. Apply directly through USI's careers portal and tailor your resume to reflect sales metrics and any insurance credentials you hold. Disclosing your visa status in early recruiter conversations avoids delays if the role advances to an offer.
How do I manage the timeline between a job offer and my visa filing at USI?
Once USI extends an offer, the sponsorship process involves DOL LCA certification before USCIS receives the petition. For OPT holders nearing the end of their authorization, USCIS cap-gap rules may bridge a gap if an H-1B petition is filed, but for E-3 and TN, consular or change-of-status processing can move faster. Build at least 60 to 90 days of buffer into your expected start date.
