Frame your credentials for insurance leadership
USI's Executive Management roles typically require demonstrated P&L ownership or team leadership within insurance, risk management, or financial services. Before applying, document specific outcomes, like retention rates or book-of-business growth, that translate directly to their brokerage model.
Verify your visa type matches the role
USI sponsors E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas. Confirm your current status fits the seniority of an Executive Management hire, since some visa categories have employment authorization timelines that may not align with extended onboarding or delayed start dates.
Target USI's regional market structure
USI operates through local and regional offices tied to specific insurance markets. Identifying which region has active Executive Management openings, rather than applying nationally, increases your visibility with the hiring team that actually controls sponsorship decisions at that location.
Search open Executive Management roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter USI Insurance Services' open Executive Management positions by visa type before you apply. This saves time by surfacing only the roles where sponsorship is already confirmed, so you're not waiting to raise the topic after an interview.
Understand how E-3 and TN timelines affect your start date
For E-3 and TN candidates, consular processing typically runs two to four weeks once the employer has filed the Labor Condition Application with DOL. Build this into your negotiation so your offered start date gives the company enough runway to complete the LCA before your interview.
Raise sponsorship before the final offer stage
At the Executive Management level, USI's HR and legal teams need time to assess LCA prevailing wage requirements and internal approval chains. Disclosing your sponsorship need during the second or third interview, not at offer acceptance, prevents delays that can cause an offer to lapse.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Executive Managements?
USI Insurance Services does not appear in recent DOL disclosure data as an active H-1B visa sponsor for Executive Management roles. The company's confirmed visa sponsorship for this function covers E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visa categories. If you require H-1B visa sponsorship specifically, clarify directly with USI's HR team during the hiring process, as sponsorship decisions can vary by role, seniority, and business need.
How do I apply for Executive Management jobs at USI Insurance Services?
Applications go through USI's careers portal, where roles are listed by location and function. For the most direct path to visa-sponsored openings, browse Executive Management positions at USI through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by sponsorship type. Before applying, tailor your resume to reflect insurance industry leadership experience, since USI's Executive Management hires typically come from within the brokerage, risk, or financial services space.
Which visa types are most commonly used for Executive Management roles at USI Insurance Services?
USI Insurance Services has sponsored E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas for roles in this function. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which requires a Labor Condition Application filed by the employer with DOL. Canadian and Mexican nationals can pursue the TN category. F-1 OPT and CPT options are available for recent graduates still within their authorized employment period.
What qualifications does USI Insurance Services expect for Executive Management candidates?
USI's Executive Management roles in insurance typically require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field, along with substantial industry experience. Candidates who have managed client portfolios, led insurance teams, or held producer or account executive roles at competing brokerages are the most competitive. Relevant licenses, such as a Property and Casualty license, strengthen your application significantly for client-facing leadership positions.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for an Executive Management offer at USI Insurance Services?
Timeline depends on visa type. For E-3 candidates, the employer must first obtain a certified LCA from DOL, which takes seven to ten business days, before you can schedule a consular appointment. TN processing can happen at the port of entry for Canadians or through consular processing for Mexican nationals. F-1 OPT candidates can typically start within their authorized period without additional filing, provided their EAD is already active.
