Frame Your Insurance Credentials for U.S. Clients
Customer Success roles at USI require client-facing credentialing that translates across markets. If you hold insurance or financial services certifications from outside the U.S., document how they align to roles involving commercial lines, benefits, or risk management before you apply.
Target USI's Regional Service Hubs Directly
USI operates through a branch-based model across dozens of states. Roles posted at larger regional offices tend to have more established onboarding infrastructure for sponsored hires, so filter your applications geographically toward those locations rather than applying broadly.
Clarify Your Visa Category Before the Offer Stage
USI has sponsored E-3, TN, and OPT candidates for Customer Success positions. Know which category applies to you before salary discussions start. TN and E-3 don't require USCIS petition approval before your start date, which gives employers a faster path than H-1B.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active Openings
Customer Success openings at USI are posted across multiple locations and close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter for visa-sponsoring Customer Success roles at USI specifically, so you're applying to live positions rather than listings that have already filled.
Prepare for the OPT Cap-Gap Window If You're on F-1
If you're on F-1 OPT and your EAD expiration falls mid-year, confirm with USI's HR team that they understand the cap-gap extension. USCIS authorizes continued work authorization through September 30 for timely filed H-1B petitions, but not all employers handle this correctly.
Align Your Start Date to Avoid E-3 Processing Gaps
E-3 visa appointments at Australian consulates can have variable wait times. Once USI confirms a Labor Condition Application is filed with DOL, request a copy promptly so you can book your consulate appointment and give the hiring team a realistic start date with no surprises.

Does USI Insurance Services sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
USI Insurance Services' sponsorship activity for Customer Success roles is concentrated in visa categories other than H-1B, including E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT. If H-1B is the category you need, it's worth having a direct conversation with USI's recruiting team early, since H-1B requires USCIS petition approval and is subject to the annual lottery, which adds significant uncertainty to any hire timeline.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at USI Insurance Services?
Applications go through USI's careers portal, where Customer Success openings are listed by location and service line. You can also find visa-sponsoring Customer Success roles at USI filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate, which makes it easier to confirm sponsorship eligibility before you invest time in the application process. Tailoring your application to USI's insurance-specific client management model strengthens your candidacy.
Which visa types does USI Insurance Services commonly use for Customer Success roles?
Based on USI's sponsorship history, Customer Success positions have been filled using E-3 visas for Australian citizens, TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates. J-1 has also appeared in their sponsorship record. Each category has different employer requirements, so confirming which applies to your nationality before the offer stage saves time for both sides.
What qualifications does USI Insurance Services expect for Customer Success roles?
USI's Customer Success positions typically require experience in account management, client retention, or service delivery within financial services or insurance. Familiarity with commercial lines, employee benefits, or risk management products is a practical differentiator. For visa-sponsored hires, your degree field needs to align with the role's responsibilities to satisfy specialty occupation requirements under most nonimmigrant work visa categories.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Customer Success role at USI?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa category. E-3 and TN sponsorship can move quickly once USI files the Labor Condition Application with DOL, since neither requires USCIS petition approval before you start. F-1 OPT authorization is already in place if your EAD is valid. Build in two to six weeks from offer acceptance to start date as a realistic baseline, and communicate your timeline constraints to USI's HR team upfront.
