Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Customer Service Management Jobs at AutoNation Jobs
Tailor your resume to dealership operations
AutoNation's Customer Service Management roles sit inside active dealership environments, so your resume should highlight experience with service workflow oversight, team scheduling, and customer satisfaction metrics. Generic management resumes get filtered out fast.
Identify locations with active job postings
AutoNation operates hundreds of dealerships across the U.S., and sponsorship decisions often happen at the regional or store level. Target markets where multiple Customer Service Management openings are listed simultaneously, as those locations are actively building their teams.
Address nonimmigrant intent directly in interviews
Automotive dealership hiring managers are less familiar with visa mechanics than tech recruiters. Come prepared to explain your work authorization timeline, current status, and when any grace period or OPT extension expires, so the conversation doesn't stall at HR.
Search for open roles using Migrate Mate
Filter by AutoNation and Customer Service Management on Migrate Mate to see currently open roles that align with your visa type. The platform lets you target employers with a verified sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying.
Confirm LCA filing timing with the hiring team
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting to USCIS. Ask the AutoNation recruiter or HR contact which internal team handles this step and what their typical lead time is before your target start date.

Find Customer Service Management at AutoNation JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does AutoNation sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service Managements?
Yes, AutoNation has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Service Management roles. Because H-1B sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, you'll want to ensure the specific role involves a degree-level requirement, such as business administration or a related field, and that this is reflected clearly in the job description before the petition is filed.
How do I apply for Customer Service Management jobs at AutoNation?
You can search for open Customer Service Management positions directly on AutoNation's careers site or browse current listings filtered by employer and visa type on Migrate Mate. When applying, include your work authorization status in your application or cover note so AutoNation's HR team can route your profile to the right hiring manager from the start.
Which visa types does AutoNation commonly use for Customer Service Management roles?
AutoNation has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for this function. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering management training pipelines, while TN is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management categories. H-1B remains the primary path for long-term sponsorship once a candidate moves into a permanent role.
What qualifications does AutoNation expect for Customer Service Management candidates seeking sponsorship?
AutoNation typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, combined with hands-on experience leading customer-facing teams. For sponsored roles, the degree requirement matters beyond the hiring decision since it directly supports the specialty occupation classification required for H-1B petitions. Experience in automotive retail or service environments strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I manage timing between my visa status and an AutoNation offer?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiration date before accepting an offer since AutoNation will need enough lead time to file an H-1B cap-subject petition or initiate TN paperwork. The standard H-1B filing window opens April 1 for an October 1 start, so a mid-year offer may require bridging on a STEM OPT extension if you're eligible.
