INTRODUCTION

Bellisio Foods is hiring a Senior Director of Operations in Jackson, OH. This is a vital leadership position that requires someone with experience in the food and/or beverage industry, a strong operations background, and a continuous improvement mindset.

ABOUT THE JOB

CPFNA/ Bellisio Foods produces more than 400 products spanning a wide variety of frozen food categories, including single and multi-serve entrees, snacks, and side dishes. Our Jackson facility consists of an approximately 800,000 SQ feet factory with currently 16 product lines and over 800 people working in the plant.

POSITION INFORMATION

The Senior Director of Operations will oversee multiple departments and be responsible for driving the results of our Jackson OH location. We already have a successful operation and need a leader who will be able to come in and continue our success while looking for additional avenues and opportunities for us to improve.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and coordination of the manufacturing operations functions
- Partner with business leader to develop and implement plans to meet business profitability and growth objectives
- Ensure the company complies with all State/Local/Federal Food and Human Safety laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with labor contract between Bellisio Foods and Union
- Annual Budgetary Responsibilities are met, inclusive of Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory and Working Capital Management and Annual Budget Development
- Able to foster Site Lean Manufacturing processes, training and deliver associated KPI’s
- Work closely with Headquarters Functions and collectively deliver the Operations KPI’s out of Jackson

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of operations experience
- Experience in the food or beverage industry
- Experience in business and management principles, involved in resource allocation, leadership technique, and production methods
- Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Working Knowledge of Inventory Management, Plant Cost Accounting and Logistics
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in systems, process improvement, food processing, purchasing and logistics required
