Target clinical and allied health roles first
Catholic Health System's sponsorship activity is concentrated in healthcare-specific positions, think nursing, therapy, and medical support roles. Focus your application efforts on clinical departments where the organization has demonstrated a clear willingness to sponsor international candidates.
Green Card sponsorship is a real possibility
Catholic Health System has a track record of sponsoring both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, which is meaningful for healthcare workers seeking long-term stability in the U.S. Ask HR early whether a role includes a pathway to permanent residency, not just temporary work authorization.
Align your application timing with H-1B season
If you're targeting an H-1B at Catholic Health System, aim to secure an offer well before the April lottery registration window. Healthcare employers often move slower through HR processes, so starting outreach in late fall gives you the best chance of being ready in time.
Leverage OPT or CPT to build your case
Catholic Health System supports F-1 OPT and CPT, making it accessible for international students in healthcare programs. Getting a foot in the door through a practical training placement is a well-established path toward a full-time sponsored role at health systems like this one.
Find verified sponsorship roles through Migrate Mate
Not every job posting at Catholic Health System will mention visa sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on roles where sponsorship is actually on the table, rather than guessing from generic job listings.

Does Catholic Health System sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Catholic Health System sponsors H-1B visas. The organization has an active sponsorship history across healthcare and clinical roles, making it a legitimate option for international workers in specialty occupations. If you're targeting an H-1B, focus on roles that require a degree in a specific field and connect with HR early to confirm sponsorship eligibility before the April registration window.
What visa types does Catholic Health System sponsor?
Catholic Health System sponsors H-1B and TN visas for temporary work authorization, F-1 OPT and F-1 CPT for international students completing practical training, and both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for candidates seeking permanent residency. The range of visa types makes it a strong option for international job seekers at different stages of their U.S. immigration journey.
Which roles at Catholic Health System are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Catholic Health System is most common in clinical and allied health roles, positions in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical imaging, and similar specialty areas. Administrative and operational roles are less frequently sponsored. Candidates with healthcare-specific degrees and licensure are generally the strongest fit for sponsored positions at organizations like this.
How do I apply for a sponsored role at Catholic Health System?
Start by identifying open roles that match your clinical background and visa category. Apply directly through Catholic Health System's careers portal and raise sponsorship eligibility early in the recruiter conversation, ideally before the first formal interview. For H-1B candidates, timing matters: securing an offer before early March gives the employer enough runway to register you in the lottery. Migrate Mate can help you find verified open roles at Catholic Health System filtered by sponsorship history.
How do I know if Catholic Health System is a strong visa sponsor?
Catholic Health System has a consistent sponsorship record across both temporary visas and Green Cards, which signals genuine institutional commitment rather than one-off sponsorships.
