Focus on roles that align with EB-2 or EB-3 pathways
Cordis sponsors Green Cards rather than H-1B visas, so target roles that fit permanent residency categories. Positions requiring advanced degrees or skilled labor in distribution operations are your strongest entry points for sponsorship consideration.
Understand that distribution roles often favor EB-3
In Distribution & Wholesale, EB-3 sponsorship is common for skilled and professional roles. Research whether your background fits the skilled worker or professional subcategory before applying, as this shapes how Cordis would structure your petition.
Expect a longer timeline given the Green Card focus
Because Cordis sponsors Green Cards rather than temporary work visas, the immigration process is longer and involves PERM labor certification. Factor 12 to 24 months of processing into your planning before you'd receive work authorization through this pathway.
Identify the right hiring teams within distribution operations
Sponsorship at distribution companies tends to concentrate in supply chain, operations, and technical roles. When applying to Cordis, prioritize departments where specialized skills are harder to source domestically, as those teams are more likely to pursue sponsorship.
Search for open roles through a verified sponsorship platform
Not every job listing signals whether a company will sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving you from applying to roles where sponsorship was never on the table at Cordis.
Address your visa situation early in the hiring conversation
For Green Card sponsorship, employers need to start the PERM process well before your current work authorization expires. Raise your immigration needs with Cordis recruiters early so both sides can assess timeline compatibility before the offer stage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cordis sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Cordis does not have a track record of sponsoring H-1B visas. Its sponsorship activity is focused on permanent residency through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. If you currently need H-1B sponsorship to work in the United States, Cordis is unlikely to be the right fit at this stage of your immigration journey.
What visa types does Cordis sponsor?
Cordis sponsors employment-based Green Cards, specifically through the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. EB-2 is typically for professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers and professionals. Cordis does not appear to sponsor temporary nonimmigrant work visas like the H-1B or E-3 visa based on its sponsorship history.
Which roles or departments at Cordis are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
In Distribution & Wholesale companies like Cordis, Green Card sponsorship tends to be concentrated in roles where specialized expertise is genuinely difficult to source locally. Supply chain management, operations, logistics, and technical or analytical functions are the most common areas. Roles requiring advanced degrees are more likely to qualify for EB-2 sponsorship, while skilled professional positions may fit the EB-3 category.
How do I find open sponsored jobs at Cordis?
The most reliable approach is to search through a platform that tracks real sponsorship history rather than self-reported claims. Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings by verified sponsorship data, so you can identify current openings at Cordis where Green Card sponsorship is a realistic outcome, not just a possibility mentioned in fine print.
How do I approach the application process at Cordis as a visa-dependent candidate?
Start by confirming that your target role at Cordis falls within a category that historically receives Green Card sponsorship. Because the EB-2 and EB-3 process involves PERM labor certification, it is lengthy and requires employer commitment from the outset. Be transparent about your sponsorship needs during early recruiter conversations, and where possible, demonstrate skills that are genuinely hard to source domestically, which strengthens the employer's PERM case.
