INTRODUCTION
Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported. We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes. We are looking for talented individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to have an outsized impact on not just their company, but the healthcare industry at large.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own end-to-end product design from discovery through delivery for Courier Health's core products for Patient Services and Field Access and the underlying platform services including workflows, admin, analytics, roles and permissions, and omnichannel communication.
Build and scale a design system from the ground up: component library, token architecture, interaction patterns, and documentation that ensures consistency across the product and accelerates engineering velocity.
Design data-rich experiences that make managing complex patient journey accessible and actionable for non-technical biopharma users.
Lead user research and validation, partnering with Client Services and customers to conduct discovery interviews, usability studies, and rapid prototype testing that inform design decisions.
Establish the design practice: critique cadences, research playbooks, design-to-dev handoff standards, and documentation norms that set the team up to scale.
Partner as a true peer with Product Management and Engineering. Co-own outcomes, not just deliverables. Participate in roadmap planning, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional prioritization.
* Ship work that differentiates us from legacy CRM tools. Raise the bar on what enterprise healthcare software can look and feel like, making Courier Health the product biopharma teams love to use.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex B2B SaaS products. Enterprise, healthcare, or CRM experience is a strong plus.
Design systems builder. You have created, governed, or significantly scaled a design system in a production environment. You understand components, tokens, variants, and the governance needed to make systems stick.
Data visualization fluency. You have designed dashboards, charts, and data-dense screens and can demonstrate thoughtful approaches to information hierarchy, progressive disclosure, and accessibility.
Exceptional interaction and visual design craft. Your work is polished, intentional, and holds up under scrutiny. You care about typography, spacing, motion, and the micro-details that separate good from great.
Research-informed but not research-paralyzed. You know how to run lightweight usability tests, synthesize qualitative feedback, and make confident decisions with imperfect information.
Cross-functional collaborator. You have a track record of partnering with PMs and engineers as peers, not as an order-taker. You can articulate design rationale in terms of user outcomes and business impact.
Strong communicator and storyteller. You can present work to executives, defend decisions with evidence, and bring stakeholders along on the design journey.
Figma expert. Deep proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and systems management. Experience with other tools (Principle, After Effects, Framer) is a bonus.
* Thrives in growth-stage environments. You are energized by ambiguity, comfortable being the first or only designer on a problem, and motivated by the chance to build something from the ground up.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience designing for regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, fintech) where compliance and data sensitivity shape the design space.
Familiarity with patient engagement, CRM platforms, or health tech workflows.
Experience with AI-powered product features, including agentic workflows, predictive models, or intelligent automation interfaces.
Background in establishing design practices at companies scaling from early product-market fit to multi-product platform.

100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
401(k) with employer funded match
Unlimited Vacation
Commuter Benefits
Paid parental leave
Catered lunch on Fridays

Lead with your specialty occupation credentials
Consulting and Professional Services firms like Courier Health require clear degree-to-role alignment for E-3 sponsorship. Before applying, confirm your degree field directly supports the role you're targeting, this is the most common point of friction in E-3 petitions.
Target roles where your background is hard to replicate
Courier Health sits at the intersection of healthcare and consulting. Candidates who combine domain expertise in healthcare with analytical, strategic, or technical skills are better positioned to build a compelling specialty occupation argument for E-3 sponsorship.
Raise sponsorship early but frame it as a simple process
Consulting firms are often unfamiliar with the E-3's relatively low administrative burden. When you bring it up, be prepared to briefly explain that the E-3 requires no lottery and no government petition, just an LCA and a consulate appointment.
Look for roles that have seen prior sponsorship activity
Courier Health has sponsored E-3 visas before, which means internal HR processes likely exist. When searching for roles, look for positions that align with where the company has previously sponsored. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Understand the consulting firm hiring cycle
Consulting and Professional Services companies often hire to meet project demand, meaning roles can open and close quickly. Monitor Courier Health's listings consistently and move fast when a relevant role appears, delays in this sector often mean the position is filled before sponsorship conversations begin.
Be prepared to walk HR through the LCA process
Smaller consulting firms may have sponsored before without deeply understanding each step. Coming into the conversation with a one-page overview of the E-3 process, including LCA timelines and consulate scheduling, significantly reduces hesitation from hiring managers and HR teams.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Courier Health sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Courier Health's visa sponsorship activity has focused on E-3 visas rather than H-1B visa petitions. Australian nationals are the best fit for Courier Health sponsorship given this pattern. If you're not Australian, the company's current sponsorship history suggests limited options for other visa categories.
What visa types does Courier Health sponsor?
Courier Health sponsors E-3 visas, which are available exclusively to Australian citizens. The E-3 is a strong fit for consulting and professional services roles, as it requires a specialty occupation backed by a relevant degree. There is no lottery, and the process is generally faster and simpler than the H-1B, which makes it attractive for employers in this sector.
What types of roles at Courier Health are most likely to receive E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that sit clearly within a specialty occupation, typically those requiring a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field, are the strongest candidates for E-3 sponsorship at Courier Health. Given the company's focus on healthcare consulting, positions in strategy, operations, product, or data analysis with a relevant academic background tend to align well with E-3 requirements.
How do I find currently open sponsored roles at Courier Health?
Migrate Mate is the most efficient way to find visa-sponsored roles at companies like Courier Health. It aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can filter specifically for E-3 sponsors in Consulting and Professional Services, rather than guessing which employers are willing to sponsor. This saves significant time compared to reaching out cold or manually researching job listings.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation with Courier Health's hiring team?
The most effective approach is to demonstrate that the E-3 is low-friction for the employer. Explain that it requires no lottery, no government petition fee, and can often be processed in a matter of weeks through a U.S. consulate in Australia. Arriving prepared with a brief overview of the process, and confirming your degree supports the role, removes the two biggest barriers hiring managers face.
