Frame your M&A credentials for tech sponsors
Corporate development roles at tech companies like Crunchbase require demonstrable experience with deal sourcing, due diligence, and integration. Organize your work history around completed transactions, not just responsibilities, so your resume signals immediate readiness.
Target Crunchbase during active hiring cycles
Crunchbase's corporate development headcount tends to expand alongside product growth and partnership initiatives. Monitor their careers page for clustering of business development and strategy postings, which often signals a broader team build-out that includes this role.
Confirm TN eligibility before your interview
If you're Canadian or Mexican, the TN visa can cover Corporate Development Manager roles under the Management Consultant category, but the job duties must align precisely. Review your offer letter language against DOL's TN criteria before accepting to avoid a mismatch at the border.
Ask about PERM timing in the offer stage
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires PERM labor certification, which can take 12 to 18 months before an I-140 is even filed. During negotiations, ask directly whether Crunchbase initiates PERM concurrently with your start date or only after a performance period.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Crunchbase openings by visa type
Crunchbase posts Corporate Development Manager roles across seniority levels, and not all trigger sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for positions where Crunchbase has a sponsorship history, so you're applying where authorization is already on the table.
Align your OPT timeline with Crunchbase's hiring pace
F-1 OPT gives you 12 months of work authorization, with a 60-day grace period if employment ends early. Corporate development hiring at tech firms often runs eight to twelve weeks from application to offer, so start your outreach early enough that your OPT start date and the role's onboarding window actually overlap.

Find Corporate Development Manager at Crunchbase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Crunchbase sponsor H-1B visas for Corporate Development Managers?
Crunchbase does not appear in recent H-1B LCA disclosure data as a frequent filer for Corporate Development Manager roles specifically. Their documented sponsorship activity for this function skews toward EB-2, EB-3, and F-1 OPT pathways. If H-1B sponsorship is a requirement, raise it explicitly during the offer stage and confirm whether Crunchbase will file a cap-subject petition or if you'd need an alternative pathway.
How do I apply for Corporate Development Manager jobs at Crunchbase?
Applications go through Crunchbase's careers page, where roles are listed by team and level. Migrate Mate also surfaces Crunchbase Corporate Development Manager openings filtered by visa sponsorship history, which saves time if authorization is a factor. Tailor your application to highlight deal experience, strategic analysis, and any background working with data platforms or SaaS business models, since those are core to how Crunchbase operates.
Which visa types does Crunchbase commonly use for Corporate Development Manager roles?
Crunchbase's sponsorship activity for this function includes EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways, F-1 OPT for recent graduates, F-1 CPT for students still enrolled, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals. Each pathway has different timelines and eligibility requirements, so the right option depends on your nationality, degree level, and how quickly you need authorization.
What qualifications does Crunchbase expect for a Corporate Development Manager?
Crunchbase typically looks for candidates with a background in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting, or in-house M&A at a technology company. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree strengthens your profile, particularly for EB-2 sponsorship where advanced degree status is a statutory requirement. Direct experience with SaaS metrics, data businesses, or platform ecosystems is a meaningful differentiator given Crunchbase's product focus.
How do I estimate the timeline for visa sponsorship at Crunchbase?
F-1 OPT authorization can begin within a few weeks of USCIS approving your Employment Authorization Document, but apply at least 90 days before your intended start date. EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship through PERM is a longer commitment: PERM labor certification alone averages 12 to 18 months at DOL, followed by the I-140 petition at USCIS. Factor these timelines into your negotiation so your start date and authorization window are actually aligned.
