Frame your M&A experience around hardware transactions
Apple's corporate development team prioritizes candidates with deal experience in semiconductors, consumer electronics, or hardware supply chains. Tailor your resume to highlight transactions in these verticals, not just general M&A or financial advisory work.
Identify Apple's active acquisition focus areas first
Review Apple's recent acquisitions in AI chips, spatial computing, and health technology to understand where corporate development hiring concentrates. Roles tied to active deal pipelines move faster and carry stronger internal sponsorship advocacy than backfill positions.
Confirm your visa type before applying to specific requisitions
Apple sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT across corporate functions, but the filing timeline differs significantly. If your OPT expires within six months of a target start date, address cap-subject H-1B lottery timing with your recruiter before the offer stage.
Prepare a degree-to-role alignment narrative for specialty occupation review
H-1B approval for Corporate Development Manager roles depends on establishing specialty occupation status. USCIS scrutinizes business management titles closely, so connect your finance, economics, or accounting degree directly to the technical deal analysis the role requires.
Search verified sponsorship job listings on Migrate Mate
Filtering by visa type and role function narrows your search to Apple postings where sponsorship is confirmed. Migrate Mate lets you browse Corporate Development Manager openings at Apple alongside the specific visa categories the company has filed for in this function.
Build your PERM timeline into your long-term offer negotiation
If permanent residency is your goal, ask your Apple recruiter early whether the EB-2 or EB-3 PERM process is initiated for this role level. Corporate Development Manager positions at large employers typically qualify, but DOL labor market testing adds 12 to 18 months to the timeline.

Find Corporate Development Manager at Apple JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Corporate Development Managers?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Corporate Development Manager roles. Because the title falls under a business function, your application will need to clearly establish specialty occupation status with USCIS, linking your specific degree field to the technical financial and analytical work the role requires. Apple's legal team typically handles this documentation, but you should be prepared to provide detailed degree transcripts and a job duties breakdown.
How do I apply for Corporate Development Manager jobs at Apple?
Apply directly through Apple's careers portal and flag your visa sponsorship needs early in the recruiter screening call. Apple posts Corporate Development Manager roles across its corporate functions team, often requiring experience in financial modeling, M&A due diligence, and deal execution. You can also browse open positions filtered by sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate, which surfaces Apple listings alongside the visa types the company sponsors for this function.
Which visa types does Apple commonly use for Corporate Development Manager roles?
Apple sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for most corporate development hires, along with E-3 visas for Australian citizens and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are available for recent graduates entering the function. For longer-term employees, Apple supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does Apple expect for Corporate Development Manager candidates?
Apple typically looks for candidates with a background in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, combined with direct deal experience in technology or hardware sectors. An MBA or advanced degree in finance or economics strengthens your application. Familiarity with semiconductor, AI, or health technology M&A is a practical differentiator given Apple's recent acquisition activity in those areas.
How do I plan my timeline if I need visa sponsorship for a Corporate Development Manager role at Apple?
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your expiration date against the April H-1B lottery window, since cap-subject petitions have an October 1 start date. E-3 and TN holders have more flexibility, as those categories aren't lottery-dependent. Build at least three to four months into your offer timeline to allow for Labor Condition Application certification with DOL and USCIS petition processing before your intended start date.
