Job Roles at Apple Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Apple Visa Sponsorship USA
Target Apple's core engineering and hardware divisions
Apple's strongest sponsorship activity sits in silicon engineering, software development, and hardware design. Roles in these areas align closely with H-1B specialty occupation requirements, making them the most reliable entry points for visa-sponsored positions.
Apply well ahead of the H-1B registration window
Apple typically recruits for sponsored roles in Q4 and Q1 to align with the April H-1B registration period. Getting your application in early gives Apple's immigration team time to prepare the petition before the annual deadline.
Highlight hardware and systems expertise in your application
Apple's Electronics & Hardware focus means candidates with chip design, embedded systems, or RF engineering backgrounds are in high demand. Matching your resume's technical depth to Apple's product lines improves your sponsorship candidacy significantly.
Filter for verified Apple sponsorship roles before applying
Not every Apple job listing includes visa sponsorship details upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify Apple roles confirmed to support international candidates.
Leverage F-1 OPT as a pathway into Apple's sponsored pipeline
Apple actively hires F-1 OPT candidates, and many convert to H-1B sponsorship after demonstrating performance. If you're completing a U.S. degree in engineering or computer science, OPT at Apple is a proven entry point into long-term sponsorship.

Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas and is one of the most active H-1B sponsors in the United States. The company files a high volume of petitions each year, primarily for roles in software engineering, hardware design, machine learning, and silicon architecture. Apple also sponsors H-1B1 visas for Singaporean and Chilean nationals in qualifying specialty occupation roles.
Which visa types does Apple sponsor?
Apple sponsors a broad range of visa types including H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Cards under EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens benefit from Apple's E-3 sponsorship as an alternative to the H-1B lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles may be eligible for TN sponsorship.
Which roles and departments at Apple typically receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Apple is concentrated in technical functions, particularly silicon engineering, software engineering, hardware design, machine learning research, and product development. These roles meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard most cleanly. Corporate functions like finance, legal, and marketing are sponsored far less frequently and typically only for candidates with highly specialized backgrounds.
How do I find Apple jobs that offer visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings by verified sponsoring employer, so you can browse Apple roles confirmed to support H-1B, E-3, and other visa types without sifting through listings that don't disclose sponsorship. Search for Apple directly on Migrate Mate and filter by visa type to match your eligibility before you apply.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Apple?
Align your application with Apple's Electronics & Hardware focus, roles in chip design, embedded systems, and software infrastructure attract the most consistent sponsorship activity. Apply early relative to the H-1B registration window, and if you're on F-1 OPT, pursue Apple internships or new grad roles as a structured pathway toward long-term H-1B sponsorship. Specificity about your technical domain matters more than a broad application.
