Your mission is to make it easy for anyone, anywhere, to find and watch Apple TV in a way that is unmistakably Apple: familiar, intuitive, and thoughtfully crafted for each platform.
You will lead and grow a team of product managers, partnering closely with design, engineering, data science, marketing, and business leaders. Together, you will define and innovate on the Apple TV app experience across the Apple ecosystem and beyond, driving reach, quality, and seamless integration everywhere.
This role requires a strong customer mindset, comfort with technical complexity, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a clear, compelling product vision. You know how to balance quality, consistency, and platform nuance - and how to scale both products and teams.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the product vision and roadmap for the Apple TV app experience across mobile and living-room platforms.
- Own core capabilities that underpin customer trust and engagement, including playback quality, profiles, cross-platform interoperability, and accessibility.
- Create simple, effortless, and reliable viewing experiences across device ecosystems while respecting platform-specific interaction models.
- Define strategy across connected TV platforms (Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, consoles) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android), balancing innovation with performance and scale.
- Champion solutions that expand the reach of the Apple TV app, supporting both existing devices and emerging form factors and formats.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers setting clear goals, expectations, and growth plans.
- Build strong alignment with cross-functional partners across engineering, design, data science, content, operations, marketing, and business teams.
- Translate customer insights, behavioral data, and qualitative research into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Establish shared success metrics tied to customer satisfaction, engagement, retention, and quality of service.
- Write and review clear product narratives and requirements that articulate vision, tradeoffs, and execution plans.
- Partner closely with design and engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end, validating outcomes through experimentation, analytics, and customer feedback.
- Work with marketing and business teams to deepen Apple ecosystem and partner platform integrations.
- Champion a culture of learning, iteration, and customer obsession; socialize outcomes and insights with leadership.
- Take strong, evidence-based positions while remaining open to feedback and thoughtful compromise.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of product management experience, including a proven track record of shipping large-scale, customer-facing consumer products and features.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of delivering media and entertainment products and features across multiple device platforms, including mobile and living-room environments.
- Demonstrated success in shipping ML-powered consumer products.
- Deep understanding of core functionality and customer experience for streaming TV, Movies, and Live Sports.
- Experience leading the full product lifecycle - from vision and strategy through launch, iteration, and optimization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly in translating complexity for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently create and deliver compelling presentations and align senior stakeholders around a shared vision.
- Highly effective analytical and product judgment skills, using both data and intuition to guide decisions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience building or leading video streaming, media, or entertainment products.
- Familiarity with device platforms and constraints across iOS, Android, Roku, Fire TV, tvOS, and Google TV.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and data-informed decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a debate-focused environment and drive decisions amid ambiguity.
- Appreciation for design and an understanding of how UX and performance shape customer trust.

Frame your credentials around Apple's hardware ecosystem
Apple's Lead Management roles in Electronics and Hardware expect familiarity with supply chain cycles, component sourcing, or product operations. Translate your experience into that context before you apply, not after you get the interview.
Clarify your OPT or CPT timeline with your DSO early
F-1 students targeting Apple Lead Management roles need their OPT authorization timed carefully around Apple's hiring cycles. A gap between your program end date and OPT card approval can complicate a start date, so confirm your I-20 extension well in advance.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Apple's open Lead Management roles
Apple posts Lead Management openings across multiple business units and locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Apple roles that match your visa type, so you're not manually sorting through listings that won't lead to sponsorship.
Confirm LCA filing scope during the offer stage
Before accepting an offer, ask your Apple recruiter which worksite location the Labor Condition Application will cover. If your role involves supporting multiple sites or remote work, the LCA scope affects your authorized work locations under DOL rules.
Prepare for PERM timelines if you're targeting long-term residency
Apple does sponsor EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Lead Management talent, but PERM labor certification adds significant time before I-140 filing. Factor 12 to 24 months of PERM processing into your long-term planning before your nonimmigrant status requires renewal.

Find Lead Management at Apple JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Lead Managements?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Lead Management positions. These roles typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as operations management, engineering, or business. Apple also sponsors H-1B1 visas for eligible Singaporean and Chilean nationals applying to equivalent roles.
How do I apply for Lead Management jobs at Apple?
You can search Apple's careers site directly or use Migrate Mate to browse Lead Management openings at Apple filtered by visa sponsorship type. When applying, tailor your resume to Apple's hardware and operations context. Sponsorship conversations typically happen after an offer is extended, so confirm your visa situation with your recruiter at that stage.
Which visa types does Apple commonly use for Lead Management roles?
Apple sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Lead Management positions, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas for permanent residency. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and career stage. Australian citizens should ask about E-3, and Canadian or Mexican nationals may qualify under TN.
What qualifications does Apple expect for Lead Management roles?
Apple's Lead Management positions in Electronics and Hardware typically require a bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. Familiarity with hardware product lifecycles, vendor management, or operations planning is a strong differentiator. Advanced degrees can strengthen both your candidacy and certain visa petitions like the EB-2.
How do I plan my timeline around Apple's H-1B sponsorship process?
H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, meaning you need an offer finalized by late March. If you're on F-1 OPT when you receive an offer, your OPT must bridge the gap to October. USCIS premium processing is available and can reduce adjudication to 15 business days, which helps if your start date is time-sensitive.
