This position requires a creative, curious, and self-motivated individual. Tips for Finding Partnerships Manager Jobs at Apple
Frame Your Experience Around Platform Ecosystems
Apple's partnerships team focuses on alliances within its hardware and software ecosystem. Tailor your resume to show experience managing relationships with chip manufacturers, OEMs, or developer partners rather than generic B2B account management.
Verify Apple's E-Verify Enrollment Before Applying
Apple participates in E-Verify, which means your work authorization will be confirmed electronically at hire. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM OPT eligibility early so there's no gap between offer acceptance and your start date.
Target Roles That Specify Cross-Functional Scope
Apple Partnerships Manager postings that include hardware integration, licensing, or supply chain alignment are stronger sponsorship candidates. These roles require specialized expertise that supports the employer's case for H-1B specialty occupation status.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Apple Partnerships Openings by Visa Type
Apple posts Partnerships Manager roles across several visa categories. Migrate Mate lets you filter active Apple openings by the visa types you hold or need, so you're applying to positions that match your specific authorization pathway.
Prepare for PERM Labor Certification Timelines
If Apple pursues an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card for you, the PERM process requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers were available. That recruitment period typically adds six to twelve months before your I-140 petition can even be filed.
Align Your Offer Timing With the H-1B Cap Window
H-1B registrations open in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer outside that window and aren't already in H-1B status, discuss with your Apple recruiter whether a cap-exempt filing or a bridging visa like E-3 or TN applies to your situation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Partnerships Manager roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or a related discipline. Apple's in-house immigration team manages the H-1B petition process, and sponsorship is generally initiated after a formal offer is extended.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnerships Manager roles at Apple?
Apple sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, E-3 visa, TN visa, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Partnerships Manager positions, as well as immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens often use the E-3 visa, Canadians and Mexicans may qualify under TN visa, and recent graduates commonly start on OPT before transitioning to an employer-sponsored category.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at Apple?
Applications go through Apple's careers site at apple.com/careers. Roles in this function are competitive, so tailor your resume to reflect ecosystem partnership experience relevant to Apple's hardware or developer business. You can also browse open Partnerships Manager positions at Apple filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate, which surfaces only roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
What qualifications and experience does Apple expect for Partnerships Manager roles?
Apple typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, along with several years of experience managing strategic alliances or technology partnerships. Familiarity with hardware supply chains, licensing structures, or developer ecosystems is a strong differentiator. Some senior roles require an MBA or equivalent graduate-level qualification, which also strengthens an EB-2 Green Card petition.
How do I estimate the timeline from offer to starting work on a sponsored visa?
Timeline depends on which visa applies. E-3 and TN approvals can happen within weeks of an offer if you're interviewing at a consulate or port of entry. H-1B sponsorship tied to the annual cap means waiting until October 1 of the relevant fiscal year. Apple's immigration team will outline expected milestones once an offer is formally extended, but building in a 60-to-90-day buffer between offer acceptance and start date is a reasonable baseline for most pathways.
