Align your portfolio to Apple's ecosystem
Apple's L&D teams build programs around product launches, engineering onboarding, and retail training. Tailor your portfolio to show experience designing scalable learning programs in hardware, software, or consumer technology contexts rather than generic corporate training.
Verify your visa type before applying
Apple sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT among others. If you're Australian, the E-3 bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely. Confirm which category fits your nationality and degree before submitting applications so your expectations match Apple's sponsorship process.
Target roles posted through Apple's internal teams
Apple's Learning Program Manager openings are distributed across hardware engineering, retail, and corporate functions. Search for roles by business unit, not just job title, since program scope and visa sponsorship decisions often sit with the hiring team rather than central HR.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Apple's open roles
Apple posts Learning Program Manager roles across multiple teams and locations simultaneously. Use Migrate Mate to filter those openings by visa type so you're only spending time on positions that match your sponsorship eligibility from the start.
Prepare documentation for specialty occupation evidence
USCIS requires that Learning Program Manager roles constitute a specialty occupation tied to a specific degree field. Gather transcripts, instructional design credentials, and job offer language that explicitly connects the role requirements to your degree discipline before your employer files.

Find Learning Program Manager at Apple JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Learning Program Managers?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Learning Program Manager roles. The process requires Apple to first file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, then submit an H-1B petition to USCIS. Because H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing your application cycle correctly and securing an offer before the March registration window matters significantly.
Which visa types does Apple commonly use for Learning Program Manager roles?
Apple sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 for most international hires, plus E-3 for Australian citizens and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals. F-1 OPT and CPT are available for recent graduates in their authorized work period. EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is also available for longer-term employees in this function.
What qualifications does Apple expect for Learning Program Manager positions?
Apple typically looks for a bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, organizational development, or a related field. Practical experience designing and measuring learning programs in a technology or product-driven environment carries significant weight. Familiarity with Apple's product ecosystem or experience supporting engineering or retail teams strengthens your candidacy.
How do I apply for Learning Program Manager jobs at Apple?
Apply directly through Apple's careers site, or browse current openings filtered by visa type on Migrate Mate to identify roles that match your sponsorship eligibility before you apply. Tailor your resume to the specific business unit posting the role, since Learning Program Manager scope varies widely between retail, hardware engineering, and corporate functions at Apple.
How do I plan my timeline around Apple's visa sponsorship process?
If you're on F-1 OPT, your start date and work authorization expiry need to align with Apple's onboarding schedule and any USCIS filing windows. For H-1B cap-subject petitions, registration opens in March with an October 1 start date. E-3 and TN filings move faster and aren't lottery-dependent, making them more flexible for mid-year offers.
