Frame your credentials around specialty occupation standards
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires your Partnerships Manager role to meet DOL's definition of a professional position. Document that your degree directly relates to client development in civil or structural engineering consulting, not just general business.
Target BKF's regional offices strategically
BKF Engineers operates across multiple Western U.S. markets. Partnerships Manager openings concentrate around offices with active infrastructure project pipelines, so prioritize applications to locations where client acquisition demand is highest rather than applying broadly.
Raise sponsorship before the offer stage
Engineering consulting firms like BKF move quickly once they identify a strong partnerships candidate. Clarify your visa situation early in the process so the hiring team can loop in HR before an offer is drafted, avoiding delays from late-stage PERM planning.
Use Migrate Mate to identify active openings
Partnerships Manager roles at BKF Engineers cycle through multiple regional offices throughout the year. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for BKF openings that align with your visa sponsorship needs and target geography before applying directly.
Align your resume to engineering client relationship work
BKF's partnerships function centers on land development, municipal, and infrastructure clients. Hiring managers will weigh your experience managing technical client accounts over generic sales backgrounds, so reframe your experience around project-based client acquisition in professional services.
Understand PERM's prevailing wage impact on your timeline
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires DOL PERM labor certification, which can run six to twelve months before USCIS filing begins. Factor this into your employment start negotiations so your authorization period covers the full processing window without gaps.

Find Partnerships Manager at BKF Engineers JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does BKF Engineers sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
BKF Engineers' documented sponsorship activity for Partnerships Manager roles focuses on permanent residence pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories, rather than H-1B nonimmigrant sponsorship. If you're currently on an H-1B with another employer, you'd need to assess whether BKF is willing to initiate a transfer petition, which is a separate conversation from their standard PERM-based sponsorship process.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at BKF Engineers?
Applications typically go through BKF Engineers' careers portal, where regional Partnerships Manager openings are posted as they arise. You can also use Migrate Mate to monitor BKF-specific openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which streamlines the process if you're targeting roles that align with your immigration situation. Tailoring your application to highlight client development experience in civil or land development consulting strengthens your candidacy.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnerships Manager roles at BKF Engineers?
BKF Engineers primarily sponsors Partnerships Managers through employment-based immigrant visa categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. These require DOL PERM labor certification, which your employer initiates on your behalf. EB-2 applies to candidates with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers professionals with a standard four-year bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
What qualifications does BKF Engineers expect for Partnerships Manager roles?
BKF Engineers is a civil and structural engineering consulting firm, so Partnerships Manager candidates are generally expected to hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a closely related field. Practical experience managing client relationships within land development, municipal infrastructure, or professional services consulting carries significant weight. A background that bridges technical project knowledge with business development distinguishes competitive applicants from generalist sales candidates.
How do I estimate the timeline for Green Card sponsorship through BKF Engineers?
The EB-2 and EB-3 process typically starts with DOL PERM labor certification, which can take six to twelve months. USCIS then reviews the I-140 immigrant petition, which adds several more months depending on processing tier. Your total wait before receiving a Green Card also depends on your country of birth and current visa priority dates, which you can track through USCIS's monthly Visa Bulletin.
