Frame your credentials around U.S. specialty occupation standards
Robert Half files LCAs with the DOL before sponsoring work visas, and the role must qualify as a specialty occupation. Document how your partnerships or business development degree directly underpins the strategic work, not just relationship management or sales coordination.
Target Robert Half's enterprise and strategic accounts divisions
Partnerships Manager openings at Robert Half concentrate in divisions serving large enterprise clients and strategic alliances. Filtering your search to these business units surfaces roles where sponsors are already accustomed to the visa filing process for this function.
Search open Partnerships Manager roles using Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Robert Half's Partnerships Manager listings by the visa types relevant to your situation, including E-3 or TN if you're Australian or Canadian, so you're only applying to roles where sponsorship pathways are already confirmed.
Confirm LCA wage tier before negotiating your offer
Once Robert Half extends an offer, ask which DOL prevailing wage level the LCA is filed at. Wage Levels I and II can constrain negotiation, and understanding where your offer sits helps you assess whether the package reflects the role's seniority in the market.
Align your visa type to Robert Half's filing patterns for this role
Robert Half sponsors multiple visa categories for Partnerships Managers, including F-1 OPT, E-3, and TN. If you're on OPT, confirm early whether the team will support cap-subject H-1B or an alternative long-term pathway before your 12-month window closes.
Prepare for E-Verify clearance as part of onboarding
Robert Half participates in E-Verify, so have your work authorization documents ready before your start date. Any mismatch between your visa status and Form I-9 documentation can delay onboarding, which is especially high-stakes if you're bridging from OPT or a grace period.

Find Partnerships Manager at Robert Half JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Robert Half sponsor H-1B visas for Partnerships Managers?
Robert Half does not have a consistent pattern of H-1B sponsorship for Partnerships Manager roles. The company more commonly sponsors E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT extensions for this function. If H-1B is your only pathway, raise it directly with the hiring team early in the process, since cap-subject H-1B petitions require filing in April with an October start date, and not all Robert Half divisions will commit to that timeline.
How do I apply for Partnerships Manager jobs at Robert Half?
Apply directly through Robert Half's careers portal or through Migrate Mate, which lets you filter open Partnerships Manager listings by visa sponsorship type so you can identify the right fit before applying. Robert Half's application process typically includes a recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, and a final round focused on client-facing or strategic scenario questions. Tailor your resume to highlight revenue impact, cross-functional stakeholder management, and experience in professional services environments.
Which visa types does Robert Half commonly use for Partnerships Manager roles?
Robert Half sponsors a range of visa categories for Partnerships Managers, including F-1 OPT and CPT for recent graduates, E-3 for Australian citizens, and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 are also available for longer-tenured employees, though these typically follow several years in a sponsored role rather than being offered at the point of hire.
What qualifications does Robert Half look for in a sponsored Partnerships Manager?
Robert Half generally expects a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a closely related field for Partnerships Manager roles. For visa sponsorship purposes, the degree must align with the specific duties of the role to meet DOL specialty occupation criteria. Beyond credentials, Robert Half prioritizes candidates with demonstrated experience managing client or partner relationships in a professional services, staffing, or consulting context, plus a track record of meeting revenue or growth targets.
How long does the sponsorship and onboarding process take at Robert Half?
Timeline depends heavily on which visa category applies to you. F-1 OPT and TN sponsorship can move quickly, sometimes within weeks of an offer. E-3 visa processing through a U.S. consulate abroad typically takes two to four weeks once the LCA is certified by the DOL. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship for EB-2 or EB-3 is a multi-year process. Aligning your expected start date to these timelines early in the offer stage prevents delays.
