Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
Talent Acquisition roles at Robert Half often require a degree in HR, business, or a related field to meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria. Document how your degree directly supports workforce planning and talent strategy, not just general recruiting.
Target Robert Half's enterprise staffing divisions first
Robert Half's larger enterprise and corporate services divisions handle higher-volume, more complex hiring needs, making them more likely to sponsor international Talent Acquisition Managers than smaller regional offices with leaner HR structures.
Ask about PERM sponsorship timelines during offer negotiation
For EB-2 or EB-3 pathways, PERM labor certification can take 12 to 18 months before USCIS filing even begins. Clarify early whether Robert Half will initiate PERM concurrently with your initial work visa to avoid a gap in your green card timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Talent Acquisition Manager openings by visa type
Robert Half posts roles across many markets, and not all positions are open to sponsored candidates. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Talent Acquisition Manager roles at Robert Half that align with your visa category, saving hours of manual screening.
Highlight experience managing high-volume or contingent workforce programs
Robert Half's core business is staffing at scale. Candidates who can demonstrate managing contingent labor programs, vendor relationships, or enterprise ATS implementations position themselves as operationally valuable, which strengthens the internal case for sponsorship.

Find Talent Acquisition Manager at Robert Half JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Robert Half sponsor H-1B visas for Talent Acquisition Managers?
Robert Half has sponsored H-1B visas for Talent Acquisition Managers, though sponsorship decisions depend on the specific business unit, location, and hiring need at the time. Because the H-1B requires a lottery selection each April for cap-subject cases, candidates already holding valid H-1B status through a prior employer are significantly easier for Robert Half to bring on through a transfer, which bypasses the lottery entirely.
How do I apply for Talent Acquisition Manager jobs at Robert Half?
You can search Robert Half's careers site directly, filtering by function and location. For a faster view of which openings are relevant to your visa situation, browse Talent Acquisition Manager listings at Robert Half on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles by visa type so you spend less time on positions that won't lead to sponsorship. Tailor your application to highlight workforce strategy and stakeholder management experience, which Robert Half prioritizes for this function.
Which visa types does Robert Half commonly use for Talent Acquisition Manager roles?
Robert Half has sponsored Talent Acquisition Managers across several visa categories, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, and TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR classifications. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for eligible candidates earlier in their career. For longer-term permanent residency, Robert Half has pursued EB-2 and EB-3 sponsored Green Card pathways for this role.
What qualifications does Robert Half expect for Talent Acquisition Manager roles?
Robert Half typically expects candidates to hold a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, along with several years of full-cycle recruiting or talent strategy experience. For sponsorship purposes, your degree must connect directly to the role's duties to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Experience with enterprise ATS platforms, workforce planning, and cross-functional stakeholder management is consistently valued across Robert Half's consulting and professional services divisions.
How do I manage my visa timeline when transitioning into a Talent Acquisition Manager role at Robert Half?
Timing your start date around visa processing is critical. H-1B transfers can typically begin once USCIS receives the petition, but E-3 and TN visas require approval or admission before you start work. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date against Robert Half's expected onboarding timeline and factor in the 60-day grace period that follows employment termination. For roles that may lead to a Green Card, ask Robert Half's HR team early whether PERM filing can begin within your first year.
