Description
Apple is looking for a passionate and technically minded marketer who believes deeply in the transformative impact that AI and emerging technology can have on how businesses operate and how people work. In this role, you will be the marketing voice for AI in the enterprise - bridging complex technical capabilities and real-world enterprise value for decision makers, IT leaders, and end users alike.
You will work cross-functionally with product marketing, marcom, PR, and enterprise sales to develop compelling messaging and programs that help enterprise customers understand and adopt Apple's AI capabilities. You'll have both inbound responsibilities - voicing enterprise customer needs back into product and engineering teams - and outbound responsibilities - crafting positioning, content, and programs that tell Apple's AI story across enterprise audiences.
This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and marketing craft. The ideal candidate has a unique ability to take complex subjects - like machine learning, on-device AI, and enterprise automation - and translate them into clear, compelling stories that resonate with enterprise buyers.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the marketing strategy, positioning, and messaging for Apple's AI capabilities and technical enterprise topics, including AI, IT, and security.
- Craft clear and compelling value propositions that translate complex AI and technical concepts into meaningful benefits for enterprise decision makers and end users.
- Develop high-quality customer-facing assets including messaging frameworks, Keynote presentations, web copy, white papers, and sales enablement materials.
- Build and implement integrated marketing programs to drive enterprise awareness, understanding, and adoption of Apple AI and technical capabilities.
- Serve as the marketing lead for technical enterprise topics, partnering closely with product, engineering, and platform teams to stay ahead of Apple's AI roadmap.
- Support strategic customer and partner briefings, and deliver presentations to senior executive and technical audiences.
- Be the voice of enterprise customers and IT stakeholders, collecting feedback that informs product development, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
- Closely follow emerging trends in enterprise AI, security, and IT to ensure Apple's story remains current, differentiated, and compelling.
- Synthesize market data, customer insights, and industry research to shape strategy, direction, and execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of product marketing experience, including developing the core product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and sales enablement for enterprise markets.
- Superb communication and passionate presenter with authentic storytelling skills.
- Experience crafting compelling and succinct positioning, messaging and differentiation for products.
- Exceptional ability to think strategically and analytically, then follow through to execution with unyielding attention to detail.
- Deep curiosity about AI and its practical applications in enterprise environments, with a passion for making complex technology accessible and meaningful.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with or marketing AI, machine learning, security, or IT management solutions in an enterprise context.
- Results-oriented with a positive "can-do" attitude; thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Passion for Apple products and a genuine belief in the role technology plays in helping people and businesses do their best work.
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

Tailor your portfolio to Apple's marketing style
Apple's marketing is defined by restraint, product-led storytelling, and precise audience targeting. Before applying, rebuild your portfolio to highlight campaigns where you led messaging strategy, not just execution, and where the creative was stripped down and benefit-focused.
Target roles tied to hardware product lines
Apple's Marketing Manager openings tied to iPhone, Mac, or wearables lines move faster through headcount approval and tend to have clearer sponsorship precedent. Filter your search by product category to find roles where international hiring is already established practice.
Align your visa type with your application timeline
Apple sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT, among others. If you're on OPT with under six months remaining, identify roles early enough to allow cap-gap or H-1B transfer processing before your status expires. USCIS processing windows directly affect your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Apple's open Marketing Manager roles
Searching broadly for marketing jobs at Apple wastes time on roles without sponsorship history. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Marketing Manager positions at Apple that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're applying where the path is already clear.
Prepare your degree and experience documentation early
Apple's immigration team will need to establish specialty occupation for your H-1B or E-3 petition. Have your degree certificates, transcripts, and any relevant credential evaluations ready before you receive an offer, since delays in documentation can push your petition outside filing windows.
Ask recruiters about LCA filing timelines before accepting
Before signing an offer, confirm when Apple's legal team plans to file your Labor Condition Application with the DOL. LCA certification typically takes seven business days, but delays can affect your start date and any internal onboarding deadlines Apple has already scheduled.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Marketing Managers?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Marketing Manager roles. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because it requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Apple's immigration team handles the petition process, including the Labor Condition Application filed with the DOL, but timing depends on your current visa status and whether you're subject to the annual H-1B cap.
Which visa types does Apple sponsor for Marketing Manager roles?
Apple sponsors several visa categories for Marketing Manager positions, including H-1B, H-1B1 visa for Chilean and Singaporean nationals, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican professionals under USMCA, and F-1 OPT and CPT for eligible students. For longer-term pathways, Apple also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for qualifying employees who have demonstrated sustained performance in their roles.
How do I apply for Marketing Manager jobs at Apple?
You can browse and apply for Marketing Manager roles at Apple directly through Apple's careers site, or use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Apple positions that are open to visa sponsorship. When applying, align your resume and cover letter to Apple's product-focused marketing language. Referrals from current Apple employees meaningfully improve your chances of getting past the initial screening stage, so networking within Apple's marketing organization before applying is a practical step.
What qualifications does Apple expect for Marketing Manager candidates?
Apple typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business, combined with several years of brand or product marketing experience, ideally in consumer electronics, software, or a closely adjacent industry. Strong candidates can demonstrate end-to-end campaign ownership, cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams, and comfort presenting strategy to senior leadership. An MBA is common among candidates at the senior manager level but is not a universal requirement.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take if Apple makes me an offer?
The timeline depends on your visa category. For H-1B transfers or cap-exempt filings, USCIS standard processing takes three to five months, though premium processing can reduce this to roughly two to three weeks. E-3 and TN visas move faster since they're processed at a consulate or port of entry and don't require USCIS adjudication. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, if applicable, runs on a separate multi-year timeline and typically begins after you're established in the role.
