Target engineering and R&D roles first
Keysight's core business is test and measurement technology, so software engineers, hardware engineers, and signal processing specialists are the roles most likely to come with visa sponsorship. These technical positions align directly with Keysight's sponsorship history.
Understand that Keysight sponsors both H-1B and Green Cards
Keysight supports international employees at multiple stages, from initial work authorization through permanent residency. If long-term stability matters to you, it's worth asking during interviews about their Green Card sponsorship process and typical timelines.
Apply before H-1B registration opens in March
Keysight recruits ahead of the H-1B lottery cycle. Getting your application in during fall or early winter gives hiring managers time to assess your fit and initiate sponsorship paperwork before the March registration window.
Emphasize specialized technical expertise in your application
Keysight operates in a highly specialized field. Candidates with expertise in RF, microwave, photonics, or test automation stand out. Demonstrating deep domain knowledge makes the business case for sponsorship much easier for hiring teams to justify.
Look for roles in Keysight's U.S. engineering hubs
Keysight's U.S. offices in California, Colorado, and Oregon concentrate the most technical hiring. Focusing your search on these locations increases your odds of finding a sponsorship-eligible opening. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Don't overlook Keysight's internship and new-grad pipeline
Keysight recruits from university programs in electronics and computer engineering. New graduates on OPT who land a role here often transition directly into H-1B sponsorship, making entry-level positions a strong starting point for international candidates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Keysight Technologies sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Keysight Technologies sponsors H-1B visas and has a consistent track record of doing so across its U.S. engineering and technical teams. The company operates in a specialized field where international talent is essential, and its sponsorship activity reflects that. Roles in software engineering, hardware development, and signal processing are among the positions most frequently sponsored.
What visa types does Keysight Technologies sponsor?
Keysight Technologies sponsors both H-1B work visas and employment-based Green Cards, primarily EB-2 and EB-3 categories. This means the company supports international employees at both the work authorization stage and the path to permanent residency. Candidates with advanced degrees may be particularly competitive for EB-2 sponsorship given the technical nature of Keysight's work.
Which departments at Keysight Technologies are most likely to sponsor visas?
Engineering and R&D functions drive the majority of Keysight's visa sponsorship. Roles in software development, hardware engineering, RF and signal processing, photonics, and test automation are consistently among the strongest candidates for sponsorship. Corporate functions like finance or marketing are less commonly sponsored, so candidates with deep technical backgrounds have a clear advantage.
How do I find open roles at Keysight Technologies that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lists Keysight Technologies as a verified visa sponsor, so you can browse current openings there with confidence that sponsorship history is real and verified, not self-reported. Filter by company to see active Keysight roles, then cross-reference the job description for language about visa sponsorship eligibility before applying.
How do I time my application to Keysight Technologies for H-1B sponsorship?
The H-1B registration window opens in March each year, with USCIS conducting the lottery shortly after. Keysight typically recruits ahead of this cycle, so applying between September and January gives you the best chance of being in the pipeline when registration opens. Starting early also allows time for the LCA filing and any internal approvals before USCIS deadlines hit.
