Align Your Credentials to Keysight's Technical Standards
Keysight prioritizes hands-on proficiency with test and measurement equipment. Certifications in electronics technology or metrology, alongside documented experience with RF, oscilloscopes, or signal analyzers, strengthen your application for technician-level sponsorship consideration.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Open Keysight Technician Jobs
Keysight's sponsorship-eligible technician roles aren't always easy to filter on general job boards. Search Migrate Mate to surface Keysight openings confirmed for visa sponsorship and apply before positions close.
Ask About LCA Filing During Offer Negotiations
Before accepting an offer, confirm your Keysight hiring contact understands the Labor Condition Application timeline. DOL certification must precede any H-1B petition, and delays here can push your start date weeks further than expected.
Prepare for a Technical Skills Assessment Early
Keysight frequently uses practical assessments for technician candidates, covering circuit troubleshooting, calibration procedures, and equipment operation. Having documented lab work or a portfolio of completed hardware projects ready before your interview is the right move.
Account for USCIS Processing in Your Start Date Planning
If you're transitioning from another status or employer, standard H-1B adjudication can take three to six months without premium processing. Factor this into negotiations with Keysight so your intended start date is realistic and avoids status gaps.

Find Technician at Keysight Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Keysight Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Technicians?
Yes, Keysight Technologies sponsors H-1B visas for Technician roles where the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant degree or its equivalent. Technician positions tied to electronics design, calibration engineering, or test systems development tend to meet that threshold. Roles that are more general in scope may be evaluated for EB-3 sponsorship instead.
How do I apply for Technician jobs at Keysight Technologies?
Apply directly through Keysight's careers portal, where you can filter by role type and location. To find Technician openings specifically confirmed for visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which surfaces these positions in one place. Tailor your application to highlight hands-on experience with test and measurement hardware, since Keysight's technician hiring is grounded in practical electronics competency.
Which visa types does Keysight Technologies commonly use for Technician roles?
Keysight sponsors both H-1B and employment-based Green Card pathways, including EB-2 and EB-3, for Technician positions. H-1B is more common for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. EB-3 is often the path for skilled technician positions that require less than a four-year degree but involve specialized training and documented experience.
What qualifications does Keysight Technologies expect for sponsored Technician roles?
Keysight typically looks for candidates with a degree or associate credential in electronics technology, electrical engineering technology, or a closely related discipline, combined with practical experience operating or maintaining test and measurement systems. Familiarity with RF equipment, signal analyzers, or calibration procedures is frequently referenced in job postings. Relevant certifications can supplement formal education when USCIS evaluates specialty occupation eligibility.
How long does the sponsorship process typically take for a Keysight Technician position?
For H-1B sponsorship, Keysight must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting the petition to USCIS. Standard USCIS processing runs three to six months, while premium processing reduces that to a few weeks. If the role requires PERM labor certification for a Green Card pathway, plan for a significantly longer timeline, often a year or more before the immigrant visa petition stage.
