Our team focuses on SoC architecture of Arm CPUs and system IP blocks combined in pre-silicon environments. Working closely with design teams, we develop best-in-class silicon platforms across markets such as client, infrastructure, IoT, automotive, and AI accelerators.
What you could be doing as a Performance Architecture PnP Modeling Intern?
- Conduct architectural investigations and PnP tradeoff studies across full SoCs and SoPs across different business segments (IOT, Automotive, Server, Laptop)
- Perform use case decomposition and workload characterization to identify system performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
- Architect tools for performing performance power thermal studies for the best Perf/W
We are looking for individuals who:
Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome).
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Understanding of general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including knowledge of areas such as processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
- Fundamental understanding of power and performance concepts as they apply to devices like networking IPs, CPUs, and caches.
- Proficient in ReactJS, C/C++ programming language and Python scripting language skills.
- Adaptability and willing to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems.
- Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.
Arm Internships require you to be enrolled in a higher education degree and be returning to your course after your internship/placement.
