The Finance Process, Analytics, Reporting, and Technology (PART) team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated analyst to help shape the future of AI-powered finance at Apple. As part of this team, you will support Apple's growth, both top and bottom line, by applying the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services. We work closely with various business teams to deeply understand current and future commercial initiatives and then partner with data engineering, data science, and full stack development teams to ensure our finance teams are fully empowered to operate efficiently and make well-informed decisions - increasingly through the use of cutting-edge AI capabilities.
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an outgoing professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills to support the WW Sales Finance organization. In this role, you will be embedded at the intersection of finance domain expertise and AI product development - serving as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and the teams building next-generation AI tools for finance. You will be responsible for driving the adoption, quality, and continuous improvement of AI-powered finance capabilities, ensuring they deliver real, measurable value to the analysts and teams who depend on them. The position requires the ability to understand and work with complex data sets, generated from equally complex business processes, in order to drive insights and inform product decisions.
Responsibilities
-
Deeply understand Apple's relevant business activities, commercial interests, and related processes - and apply that knowledge to help define what "good" looks like for AI-generated outputs
-
Drive day-to-day execution of roadmap priorities across finance capabilities - including writing requirements, consolidating and proposing priorities, and analyzing user feedback with guidance from senior team members
-
Review and evaluate AI-generated answers and analyses for accuracy and business relevance, helping define best-in-class responses that set the quality bar for each capability
-
Identify and drive solutions in response to user feedback, translating observations into actionable product improvements
-
Lead documentation and knowledge-building efforts - maintaining shared context, frameworks, and curated resources that support team onboarding and continuity
-
Define and enforce SQL best practices across relevant datasets, particularly as capabilities expand into new data domains
-
Review and validate SQL queries in collaboration with technical partners, developing proficiency in data verification and quality assurance
-
Support successful capability launches and drive adoption - including providing structured feedback, participating in testing cycles, and engaging stakeholders
-
Partner with and train analysts to best use our data and technology infrastructure for building dashboards, reports, and conducting analyses
-
Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, or analyses, demonstrating intellectual curiosity beyond the immediate scope of work
-
Translate business requirements into technical requirements and work with engineering partners to assess feasibility and form project plans
-
Communicate the business value of proposed projects to senior leadership by framing opportunities in terms of impact, feasibility, and alignment with strategic goals, enabling effective prioritization and resourcing decisions
-
Collaborate with engineering and data partners to influence tool and pipeline design decisions that improve usability and long-term maintainability
-
Document and share reusable frameworks, templates, and tools to improve onboarding and speed up solution delivery
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
-
2+ years of consulting or financial/business/data analyst experience
-
BS/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or BS/MS in STEM or a quantitative field (CS, Applied Statistics, Operations Research)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
4 years of consulting or financial/business/data analyst experience
-
Excellent problem-framing, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to change direction quickly
-

-
Confirmed ability to conduct complex, data-driven analysis
-
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling

Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and curiosity about how large language models and AI-powered tools can be applied to financial analysis and reporting
-
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Business Analyst Jobs at Apple Jobs
Tailor your resume to Apple's BA scope
Apple's Business Analyst roles often require cross-functional work across hardware operations, supply chain, or go-to-market strategy. Highlight experience with large-scale data pipelines, SQL, and product-aligned analytics rather than generic reporting or dashboard work.
Identify which team is hiring
Apple posts BA roles across distinct business units including Apple TV Plus, Apple Pay, and retail supply chain. The sponsorship process and timeline can differ by hiring manager, so targeting a specific business line improves your ability to ask informed questions during interviews.
Confirm LCA filing before accepting an offer
Before signing, verify that your offer letter references a Labor Condition Application filing with the DOL. Apple's legal team handles this, but delays in LCA certification can push your start date, which matters if you're on OPT with a fixed work authorization window.
Understand how your visa type affects your start date
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT to H-1B sponsorship at Apple, the cap-subject lottery means you may need a gap-year plan. Confirm whether Apple will support an E-3 or TN if you hold Australian or Canadian citizenship, as those avoid the lottery entirely.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified BA roles at Apple
Finding confirmed sponsorship-eligible BA openings across Apple's business units takes real research. Migrate Mate lets you filter active Apple postings by visa type so you're only applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed for your category.
Request premium processing clarity during offer negotiation
Apple typically covers USCIS filing fees, but premium processing is not always standard. Ask your recruiter directly during offer negotiation whether it's included, since a standard H-1B adjudication timeline can extend several months beyond your target start date.

Find Business Analyst at Apple JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Apple sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, Apple sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles. Apple is a well-established H-1B petitioner with a dedicated immigration legal team that handles filings across its business units. Keep in mind that cap-subject H-1B petitions require lottery selection in April, so if you're not currently in H-1B status, your timeline depends on the annual registration cycle.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at Apple?
Applications go through Apple's careers portal at jobs.apple.com. BA roles at Apple are competitive, so a strong application highlights cross-functional analytics experience, proficiency in tools like SQL or Python, and domain knowledge relevant to the specific team, whether that's supply chain, finance, or product. Migrate Mate surfaces Apple's active BA openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, which helps you prioritize roles already confirmed for your situation.
Which visa types does Apple commonly sponsor for Business Analyst roles?
Apple sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT and CPT for Business Analyst positions, as well as immigrant visa categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term permanent residence pathways. Australian and Canadian nationals often have a faster path through E-3 and TN respectively, since both categories bypass the H-1B lottery and can be renewed repeatedly.
What qualifications does Apple expect for sponsored Business Analyst roles?
Apple's BA postings typically require a bachelor's degree in business, economics, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Many roles also expect hands-on experience with large datasets, comfort with SQL, and the ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations for product or operations teams. For visa sponsorship purposes, your degree field needs to align directly with the role's stated requirements to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation standards.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when joining Apple as a Business Analyst?
For cap-subject H-1B petitions, the process runs on USCIS's annual cycle, with registration in March and an October 1 start date at the earliest. E-3 and TN processing is faster, often completed within a few weeks through consular processing. Apple's immigration team initiates the Labor Condition Application with the DOL before any petition is filed, and that step alone can take one to two weeks.
