Join JPMorganChase Consumer and Community Banking Controls to build modern, scalable SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions that strengthen our control environment, automate reporting, and elevate collaboration across the business. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into secure, data-driven dashboards and workflows—leveraging tools like Power Automate/Power Apps, HTML/JavaScript, and Alteryx to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the end-user experience.
Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.5 trillion and operations worldwide. Chase serves nearly half of America's households with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Customers can choose how and where they want to bank: 5,200 branches, 16,000 ATMs, mobile, online and by phone.
Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas: Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Issues & Control Deficiencies and Control Governance & Reporting. This position is required to analyze business needs, propose automated reporting solutions to save cost and minimize risk while complying with all of the established controls. Once an agreement is made on the solution to be implemented, you will design and build the solution and perform QC before implementing the solution. Duties may also include generation of regular and special reports and recommendation of changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
This role is part of the Technology and Solutions team within CCB Controls, focusing on SharePoint Solutions. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions to support control functions, drive process efficiency, and enhance collaboration. Job responsibilities:

- Integrate supplemental applications and tools (such as HTML, JavaScript, Alteryx, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to build solutions and improve business processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver enhancements, and drive operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Implement document management and collaboration features, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and governance policies.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for SharePoint and integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support solution maintenance and ongoing enhancements; conduct solution demos and walkthroughs for end users and requestors.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise platforms and tools.
- Diagnose performance issues, analyze data, and develop creative recommendations to address business needs.
- Assure the integrity of data through extraction, transformation, processing, analysis, and reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, statistics, economics or information management.
- Experience in SharePoint development, including designing, developing, and deploying solutions at scale.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies relevant to SharePoint customization.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 software and SharePoint integration.
- Ability to work and resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business needs, diagnose performance issues, and develop recommendations and creative solutions through data analysis and critical thinking.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to set expectations, manage timelines, and deliver results.

Align your credentials to JPMorganChase's BA frameworks
JPMorganChase's Business Analyst roles frequently require demonstrated proficiency in tools like SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx alongside finance or operations domain knowledge. Certifying or evidencing these skills before applying strengthens your petition's specialty occupation argument at USCIS.
Target divisions with dedicated sponsorship pipelines
JPMorganChase's Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Banking, and Consumer Analytics arms post the highest volume of Business Analyst openings. Prioritizing these divisions improves your odds of landing a role tied to an established visa sponsorship workflow rather than a one-off hire.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active BA openings
JPMorganChase's Business Analyst listings are distributed across multiple business lines and update frequently. Use Migrate Mate to filter for open roles by visa type so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already part of the hiring plan.
Clarify sponsorship intent before the final interview round
JPMorganChase runs structured interview loops for Business Analyst roles, often spanning three to five stages. Raising your visa requirements after an offer is issued can stall the process. Confirming the team's sponsorship posture during the recruiter screen avoids late-stage complications.
Prepare for PERM documentation if pursuing a Green Card
JPMorganChase initiates PERM labor certification for Business Analysts on EB-2 and EB-3 tracks. DOL requires the employer to document recruitment efforts proving no qualified U.S. worker was available, so your resume and role description must align precisely with the certified job duties from day one.

Find Business Analyst at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles across multiple business lines including Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Bank, and Consumer Analytics. Because Business Analyst positions require specialized knowledge in data analysis, financial modeling, or technology systems, they typically satisfy USCIS's specialty occupation standard. H-1B sponsorship is handled through JPMorganChase's in-house immigration team, so the process is structured and well-established for this role type.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly sponsor for Business Analyst roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for Business Analyst roles. H-1B is the most common path for candidates from India, Nigeria, Pakistan, and most other countries. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, and Singaporean citizens may qualify for the H-1B1, both of which bypass the annual H-1B lottery and can be filed year-round.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for sponsored Business Analyst positions?
Most Business Analyst roles at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, information systems, or a related quantitative field. Relevant experience with data tools such as SQL, Python, or Tableau is commonly listed. Roles within the investment banking or risk divisions often expect some exposure to financial products or regulatory reporting. A master's degree strengthens applications for EB-2 Green Card petitions later in your tenure.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at JPMorganChase?
Browse open Business Analyst listings on Migrate Mate, where you can filter specifically for roles at JPMorganChase that include visa sponsorship. From there, applications go through JPMorganChase's own careers portal. The interview process typically includes a recruiter screen, technical or case-based assessments, and multiple stakeholder interviews. Clarify your visa status early in the recruiter conversation so the team can confirm their sponsorship capacity before you reach the offer stage.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Business Analyst at JPMorganChase?
Timeline depends on visa type. E-3 and H-1B1 petitions can be filed and approved within four to eight weeks, making them faster options for eligible candidates. H-1B petitions are subject to the annual lottery, meaning you register in March and, if selected, your status begins October 1. JPMorganChase's immigration team typically initiates PERM for Green Card sponsorship after one to two years of employment, and DOL's processing adds six to twelve months before the I-140 stage.
