JOB DESCRIPTION
Join JPMorganChase Consumer and Community Banking Controls to build modern, scalable SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions that strengthen our control environment, automate reporting, and elevate collaboration across the business. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into secure, data-driven dashboards and workflows—leveraging tools like Power Automate/Power Apps, HTML/JavaScript, and Alteryx to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance the end-user experience.
Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2.5 trillion and operations worldwide. Chase serves nearly half of America's households with a broad range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Customers can choose how and where they want to bank: 5,200 branches, 16,000 ATMs, mobile, online and by phone.
Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas: Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Issues & Control Deficiencies and Control Governance & Reporting. This position is required to analyze business needs, propose automated reporting solutions to save cost and minimize risk while complying with all of the established controls. Once an agreement is made on the solution to be implemented, you will design and build the solution and perform QC before implementing the solution. Duties may also include generation of regular and special reports and recommendation of changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
This role is part of the Technology and Solutions team within CCB Controls, focusing on SharePoint Solutions. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions to support control functions, drive process efficiency, and enhance collaboration. The role also leverages supplemental applications and skillsets (such as HTML, JavaScript, Alteryx, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to build solutions, improve processes, and enhance user experiences.
Job responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and dashboards to support control processes and reporting needs.
- Integrate supplemental applications and tools (such as HTML, JavaScript, Alteryx, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and Power Apps) to build solutions and improve business processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver enhancements, and drive operational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Implement document management and collaboration features, ensuring compliance with internal control standards and governance policies.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for SharePoint and integrated solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support solution maintenance and ongoing enhancements; conduct solution demos and walkthroughs for end users and requestors.
- Collaborate with technology teams to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise platforms and tools.
- Diagnose performance issues, analyze data, and develop creative recommendations to address business needs.
- Assure the integrity of data through extraction, transformation, processing, analysis, and reporting.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance, statistics, economics or information management.
- Experience in SharePoint development, including designing, developing, and deploying solutions at scale.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies relevant to SharePoint customization.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 software and SharePoint integration.
- Ability to work and resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with colleagues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business needs, diagnose performance issues, and develop recommendations and creative solutions through data analysis and critical thinking.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to set expectations, manage timelines, and deliver results.
- Detail-oriented, with initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Align your resume to JPMorganChase's BSA framework
JPMorganChase BSA roles emphasize requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and systems integration within regulated financial environments. Frame your experience around SDLC methodology, Agile delivery, and cross-functional coordination with technology and compliance teams.
Target divisions with active BSA hiring pipelines
JPMorganChase's Corporate and Investment Bank, Asset and Wealth Management, and Commercial Banking divisions consistently post BSA openings. Filtering your search by business line rather than job title alone surfaces roles that may not appear under a single keyword.
Understand how financial services affects your LCA
JPMorganChase must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your visa petition. For BSA roles, the prevailing wage determination is tied to your specific location and level, so expect offer letters to reflect DOL wage data rather than negotiated market rates.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open BSA roles by sponsorship type
Search JPMorganChase BSA listings on Migrate Mate to filter by the visa categories the firm actively sponsors. This narrows your applications to roles where your specific visa pathway is already supported, saving time before you engage recruiters.
Prepare for USCIS specialty occupation scrutiny in BSA roles
USCIS has issued RFEs on BSA petitions where the degree-to-role connection is not explicit. Your petition should document that a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical field is a standard requirement for the specific role, not just a preference.

Find Business Systems Analyst at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Business Systems Analysts?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Business Systems Analyst roles. The firm has a dedicated immigration team that manages the full petition process, including the required Labor Condition Application filing with the DOL. Because H-1B selection is subject to the annual lottery, your employer must register you in March for an October start date.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly sponsor for Business Systems Analyst roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Business Systems Analyst positions, as well as employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which has no lottery and is available year-round. Chilean and Singaporean nationals may qualify for the H-1B1, which also bypasses the H-1B cap.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Business Systems Analyst roles?
Most BSA openings at JPMorganChase require a bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, finance, or a related technical field. Practical experience with requirements documentation, Agile or Scrum delivery, and stakeholder communication is consistently emphasized. Roles within regulated business lines, such as investment banking or compliance, often also expect familiarity with financial products or regulatory reporting frameworks.
How do I apply for Business Systems Analyst jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can browse and apply for Business Systems Analyst openings at JPMorganChase through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm your pathway is supported before applying. Applications go through JPMorganChase's own recruiting process, which typically involves a recruiter screen, technical or case-based interviews, and a hiring manager review before an offer is extended.
How do I plan my timeline around JPMorganChase's H-1B sponsorship process?
If you need an H-1B, JPMorganChase must register you in the USCIS lottery each March for a cap subject slot, with employment starting no earlier than October 1. If you're currently on OPT, confirm your OPT end date against this cycle. For E-3 or H-1B1 applicants, the timeline is shorter since those categories have no lottery and petitions can be filed year-round.
